  1. Agree with will-82. Better tyres around for that price.
  2. I got the invos on the rear of mine. Done approx 5000km on them and they still look new. I put up a thread in the tyre section about them.
  3. I wanted white, but let the mrs pick the colour and ended up with blue.
  4. Nice work mate. Love everything about it. I'd keep the mud flaps, otherwise you get sh*t sprayed up all over the paintwork.
  5. That price is ok for retail, but some of those component choices make me cringe. If you're not gaming, remove the graphics card as the CPU has onboard graphics that can run full hd video no problems. Also, see if they'll do Hitachi or Samsung hard drives as they're a few percent more reliable and cheaper than the Western Digital. Then put that money into a bigger hard drive, better brand of power supply and better brand of RAM. Also, if you pay about $7 more for the retail version of Office, then you can install it on 2 PCs. The one they include with pre-built PCs is pre-installed and can't be transferred.
  6. +1 for Shannons. And they do cars with business use now as well, but not for all business types. They beat my cheapest quote when I was up for renewal this year by $100.
  7. quadie, where are you located?
  8. At home. Can anyone work out how to mount them to the rear of a falcon? They need to be on a 20 degree angle to detect and jam the rear facing cameras. There's no where to put em. The front is easy as. Heaps of room there.
  9. Got a new m47 and new m27 sitting on my shelf. It's the only way to go against these stupid laser cameras.
  10. I had similar problems to this. There was a cable in the wiring loom that had been knicked the tiniest amount. Sorted that out, but still had the problem. Then there was a couple of dead fuses. After those were changed, problem went away. Have you been working anywhere near the wiring? Maybe some stereo work? Screwed anything anywhere and maybe a wire underneath/behind? Might be a long shot, but just sharing what happened to me.
  11. Yeah holy crap, a cop who actually knows the ADR.
  12. I have them, but can only compare them to the stock Dunlops. They are better in every single way. I made a thread about it in the tyre section if you want to have a look.
  13. How do you convince Ford to replace them under warranty? I'm not having any luck.
  14. Can't help myself with threads like this lol Glad you sorted the problem with IE. That CCleaner from Piriform is a great little tool Macs are sh*t. I have one only because it's free and even the mrs doesn't use it. My PC is twice as powerful for the same price and has all the same apps (Office, Adobe Creative Suite etc). Also, SSDs are awesome. Every time I get a box of the new ones, they're sold the same week. 500MB/s read/write speeds. Crazy.
  15. This is a long shot, but test your battery voltage. My screen went black and I shat a brick. Soon after I couldn't even start the car. Turns out the battery was shot. New battery in and the screen came back.
  16. $480k in cash! You could buy a house outright and have close to zero expenses!
  17. Yeah Mat I'm hearing you on the build quality. My passenger side doesn't get hot air anymore... again. Second time to be fixed under warranty. Anyone else had this?
  18. Spotted [bLWN FPV] on Tonkin Hwy between Reid Hwy and Collier Rd about half an hour ago. If you're on here, your car looks and sounds mint. Black, dark tint and with nice 20s I think. XFT sticker on back window.
  19. Cost price is $107.80 for Windows Home Premium and $141.80 for Pro. However each copy comes with a free DVD burner. That accounts for any price differences between shops. If you guys want PC parts pricing, PM me.
  20. You might be stuck there Luke. Even if you still got it cheap, it'd be around $150.
  21. If you're willing to spend $500, get an all new PC. Especially if you can Windows off a uni student and don't have to buy an OEM copy with the PC. For $500 hardware only you'll get everything new with 3 years warranty. If you're not gaming it'll work like a dream for whatever else you throw at it.
  22. Another noob question. Which aftermarket intercoolers is this kit compatible with? PWR, Rapid, Process West, Nizpro?
  23. I'd choose the HTC if you don't want to load a custom ROM on. Otherwise just get whichever android phone has the best hardware. Then you candownload whatever ROM (software) that looks the best to you off the internet. If you want help with this, come back on here and we can point you in the right direction. That's the beauty of Android phones. There's hundreds of people releasing ROMs, each slightly different with their own pros and cons. I've lost count of how many times I've upgraded the software on my phone as I keep getting newer and better features without having to pay for it. And yes it's all perfectly legal before anyone has a whinge. For the supernerds, HTC has announced that they will provide access to the boot rom so that it's easy to root their phones. I'm guessing it's their way of making up for the lack of RAM in their devices
  24. HTC all the way. Don't like the custom Samsung interface and iphone is over simplified. Can you get your hands on some samples to play with? About 2mins with each one and you'll work out which one you like. Just try performing your most common tasks on them
