I not even getting one, and I am excited - very !!! . I real happy for those who have been lucky to land new GT ...

As I sat there last night in disbelief , what would have happened if I had incurred the unthinkable and had lost a further 4 points before my court date ?, would I have lost my license for ?? (do you lost it for one(1)month or ???) and then appeared in court with the suspension to then commence from the end of earlier suspension - should the earlier suspension carried beyond my court date or would the Magristrate have responded differently if I had incurred a infringement before my court date ?.Why didnt they just take the Batmobile , lock me up in a one window tower over looking the Ford plant in Broadmeadows !!! Clearly - Vic Police, and the courts have no idea about the different shades of grey ...........clearly - we appear to them as one dirty colour of ugly !!

Victorian Police not contend with suspending my license for 12mths - send me a letter today stating that I have now incurred 8 demerit points from the date of the infringement ... Nasty !!! At least they dated last year and not from the date of the court date .. I am still sooooo angry

You 're one of the lucky ones !!! . Often we tend to think more than feel.. However , you 've allowed your emotion and passion to drive your endeavour . Thinking is very important , hence , we allow our minds to direct us forward , and often allow us to miss opportunities . As we are faced with difficulties and conflicting circumstances , we are conflicted between what we think and what we feel. Lucky ones seem to lead from the heart and not from the head .. Took the boys (our dogs) for a walk , and I hate when they do their business early on the walk and I am forced to carry their business throughout the rest of the walk ... At times I have a look around to see whether or not I could just walk away and pretend it never happened ... But the stress of having commitment a wrong against our rivers and streams - sees me carrying their business . Thank God their meals consist mainly of quality dry food .

My intel suggested over and over that to engage in representation was a waste of money as the magistrate was bound by law to at **least** effect the min penalty..I think as I achieved this I feel my respresentation of oneself was a success. Although I am unable to change anything now I dont see how a costly lawyer would have altered anything - except in reducing the fine.

Following my license suspension - phoned RACV Ins - and provided them with the update .. They stated I will remain a Silver Member , and my suspension has been noted on file and my cars are still insured !!! Phew ...........Thus far - RACV Ins still rocks in my book .. What my opinion will be at renewal time - well we shall have to now wait !!

I did some research on the equipment that was used by the officer travelling towards me ........and from the information I obtained - basically - if the equipment used has been shown to tested and stamped as 'operational' within the 12mths of use - then you are stuffed ..........you 've no grounds to appeal the infringement ..Further, it wasnt until the unmarked car was sitting on my rear bumper like a espiode of Mad Max , did I realise I was f ***ked ......... So , there was no point , me pleading not guilty , as I did nt have any grounds to contest the infringement ..

Met card with $50 credit . Public transport is going to be a b**ch during winter..

Funny , how a $70k 2006 Mustang was stolen from Narre Warren in broad daylight resurfaces 2 days later, yet not a word has been said about the white GT stolen from the dealership ?? Is it me ? Or does the circumstances from which the GT had been taken smell ??? Smell I say !

P.S ...Loved the fact that they used the batmobile in the press release ... Red highlights, Red Wheelset and those Red stripes and Red rear view mirrors ... I am in love again and again .

There you go '430kw' easy .... But they didn't want to spend the money/research in engineering the rest of the car to handle it with sufficient safety margin to ensure that the cars didn't come back under warranty time and time again ... It's funny how they say they 've delivered the final GT in the specifications that Ford GT enthusiasts wanted ??? Where was my call ?, who was called ? Where was the survey done and which market was surveyed ? Tell like it is and don't bullish to the people who have made what you re today...

Today , was a day I will not forget in a hurry. It was my day in court . Present and accounted for in front of the Magristrates' , prosecutor, and the general public .. In short , the Magistrate asked if I agreed with the prosecutors brief ? , I did . I was then advised , by pleading guilty to the charge , I was in line to receive as a minimum 12mth suspension .. I stated I understood and confirmed , I would again plead guilty . I was asked then asked whether I wished to have representation ? . I replied , I would represent myself , and I had no character reference to rely on. I was asked to be seated ... As the prosecutor , explained the brief in detail, my leg started to shake , as I thought it was possible I had taken the wrong route in my effort to mininmise the damage . I was then allowed the right of reply ..I stated my case , held my breath as I waited for the Magistrate to pass down his decision. The Magistrate stated he had taken in account my guilty plea, my account of the traffic infringement , and driving history , and pass the order to suspend my license for 12mths , pay court costs of $70 and a fine of $500 payable within 30 days . Now starts the pain !!!

Tab - don't go there !!! Haha . Stripes has come out of rehab for the punishment he received concerning the EBay stripes ... Badge in the wrong place ? And we shall lose stripes forever ...

My wife , then girlfriend , would always complain about having to carry the rotor button and a few spark plug leads in her handbag . Well one day on a outing at the Melbourne Zoo .... We came back , after a great day, found that they broke into the car , but could n't get it started ... So they left it there ... Never heard any word from my wife from then on !!!!

Stripes , I thought many times removing the stock wheels from the batmobile , shelf them , and look to purchase a set drive on... At first I didn't love the original red OEM wheels , but although I seen another black hero car with aftermarket wheels - which has looked good , I must say , when I see the same car with the original red OEM wheels , it takes my breath away . I now learned to understand that the wheels are part of the package ... However, I would be interested pending price ... I see from the AFF forum , your suggesting a price of around $4500 . I will expect that does n't include tyres .. Please continue to provide updates ...

There was a lot of that happening years ago ... Hence , I asked if everyone has taken additional steps to protect their car from being trailered away .. Years ago , we tried everything , parking the caravan , boat , anything in front of the car to bolting the chassis down to the garage floor . I remember when I had the XW GT , it took me longer to get the thing out, battery and distributor cap on,front and rear wheels than the drive itself once the car as out ... I would expect if this question was asked of owners of XW and or XY today, that practice would still be employed .

Welcome and congratulations ... There 're many members who know anything that you will ever need to know about all aspects of your FG Turbo... You will find them honest , helpful and sincere . Look forward to the pic's ..

This article has raised a interesting point ... that is , many years ago , a recall , having a XW GT Phase 1 , and whilst in sat in the garage , the alternator cap had been removed , it had no battery , rear wheel was off the car and the front wheel was chained to the garage floor .. (no alarm and or immobiliser in those days) What steps if any , are enthusiasts doing today ???

Mental note to one self - if in the GT - do not stop for anyone !!!

You can probably tell I wasnt and still am not a big fan of that dealership ........They spun me around for yoks , when I was looking to trade up my F6 into the GT .......I 've so offen felt like driving in , and slapping them for the dribble they spun over the time I had engaged them to deliver on their promise (broken) ..........Maybe this is the accumalated karma ? Still karma or not , how does someone wake up , and elect to do that ??? We should all be driving with a car doors locked !!!
