  1. hahahah yep!!! im in the same boat!!! going to check the bolts are fine and leave it at that!!!! maybe il find out the realll problem the hard way when I get a new tune and run some more power through her :-D
  2. Really so what did you do about the noise??? Didnt get the chance to check the bolts n stuff today but going to get on to it asap! My biggest worry is if I have to replace my diff as it is a malwoods upgraded diff with lots of $$ spent on it!!!

Hay guys, I am having a fair few issues with my Ba xr6 T, the old bush F*d out so we replaced it with the fulcrum one, then few days the diff started knocking again so we had a look to find out the bolt was loose, tightened up again and away I went, drove around for a couple more days and the diff knok was back again, took her off the road pulled the whole rear assembly out to replace the front two bush's aswell, and we also found that the thread was F**d in the diff for the centre bush, soooooo we put in a new thread using a Helicoil kit and also got a stronger 12.9 grade alan head bolt, put it all back together, drove it for a day and from what I can hear there is definately a noise coming from the diff again, not sure exactly what but sounds like how it started off the first time, we are going to check the bolt tomorrow and check it all over see if its all good, the helicoils seem to go in and work out perfectly soo it either just is f*cked orr I was thinkng maybe its just the noise these bush's make but as steve posted I to also have the FULCRUM version and he said it has not made a single noise sooo yeh, anyy ideas on what to do if the helicoils just arent strong enough????
  4. havnet reallly had the chance to have a good drive of it as I just put in the gauges prior to commencing changing out the bush's for the diff (worst possibly design from ford) which turned out to take longer then expected so will have to wait until tomorrow night when I get it back on the road and take it for a thrash, my gauges are electronic so my hose comes out of the BOV line (t piece) and through a little filter then into this electric solenoid thing so I was thinking maybe its due to the filter I am getting a faulty reading??? and Yes the car does need a new tune once I decide what size exhaust to put on it so that might help a little !!

Hey guys this is probably a fairly talked about thing but I was wondering if anyone could explain to me, I just installed boost and oil pressure gauges in the dash cluster and took her out for a strap, My boost gauge is connected into the BOV line and only reads 11psi and about -10 - -15 Vac, when I put my car on the dyno a few months ago it said that my Manifold pressure was reading 15psi @299rwkw... is my boost gauge not reading right orrr is there an explanation for this????

Recently I had raped the stocko rubber Centr diff mount out and changed it out put in a new Urethane one from Fulcrum, since iv done that the bolt came loose and I started getting diff thumbs so I had a mate look at it and tightened it back up, but after driving a few more k's its come loose again.... Now iv read somewhere on net that u need to possibly change the bolt when u put in an aftermarket bush but no idea where or what type to get! has anyone done this before and had the same issues?????? Advice is appreciated, thanks in advance

Heyyyyy Guys just throwing up a topic for some help and advice, I am wondering where / what type of gauge pod yous have, I have done alot of searching on the net incl Ebay but mostly the ones I come across are sh*ttty Screw in ones or ones you have to cut sh*t and use double sided tape!!!! I am wanting to get a decent Dual gauge pod that actually sits nicely and lines up with the centrecommand and colour, which I currently have a wat is meant to be a Phoon one on order Via a few contacts ;-) butt it is apparently a two piece pod and they have one piece but the other is on backorder and has been for the past 5 weeks and am so over waiting!!! Any ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated!!!

I took it to Dynolink, and mine doesnt just have an exhaust as a mod as I showed above, and most definately pulls f*ck load harder then a stock, I Replaced the traction control button today, took for a run and still spins when u dump it in first off line and even spins second, but when driving along in first and then planting it and snapping second still barely a chirp sooo its got me stuffed whats doing!!! unless the whole diff and diff gears ratio, axels and spline upgrade has something to do with it..... I heard a place called CPV in mackay is pretty good????
  10. Yeh man, in getting it checked out they found a cracked diff mount, so as soon as that's done (very $$$$$) I thinka new flash tune is in order!!

Def has 300 rwkw was there to watch it at the time on the dyno, I am located in TOWNSVILLE, so dont know who is nearbye, Also at the time of dyno got car checked over, and clutch and etc seem to be fine, and it def doesnt feel like the clutch is slipping, which I thought may be the case but had a workmate take it for a strap and also said its fine. Not sure on when the flash tune was done so cant really answer that...

Oh sh*t my bad I meant if I manage to get the light "ON' as you normal would if the traction control was turned off..... its got Roadstone N7000 235/40/R18, and as far as suspension honestly no idea, doesnt seem to be lower then normal or not excessively lowered, Tried looking for a brand on suspension but yeh couldnt see anything unless there is a particular place I should be looking And in terms of dumping at high revs yeh that's exactly what I am doing

Hi guys, I have a 04' Ba Xr6T that I have just recently purchased from Mt isa, anyways I somehow get the feeling its not running properly, I recently put it on the Dyno for a quick check and to see what its putting out, got 300kw at the wheels @ 15psi, with that in mind, I think there may be something wrong with my Traction control system, as sometimes u have to hit the button 3 times to turn it on or off, and sometimes it will turn on or off in just the one hit, altho, if I manage to get the light off and dump it in 1st it will spin, but if I drive in 1st then pin it and dump it into 2nd all I get is a little chirp... which to me does not seem right at alllll with that amount of power I should be spinning alot more!!!! Below is a short list of some of the mods I was told by the person I bought it off 60 lb injectors .drift blow off valve .capa intercooler .tune by K & N motors ( modified capa tune ) .gearbox built by mal woods .6 speed (straight cut gears ) .option 6 pressure plate .o.s geiken cluctch .3.73 ratio diff gears .upgraded diff and axles and splines .modified cat . rear muffler upgrade Can anyone at all shed some light on my little problemo!!!

Hay guys, new to this site, soooooo pretty much iv got a Ba xr6 Turbo 330rwkw on its way ( I pick it up tomorrow) yes very excited! buttt the realll reason I am putting this thread in is because I want a certain BOV, if you watch that clip, its the bov on the last blue ford, completely in love with the sound! does anyoneeee have a clue of what it is, im prettttty sure it is the Greddy Type S or Rs. anyone have the same sound and know what it actually is??? Help is much appreciated!!!
