thanks everyone I have being driving like a granny lol havnt opened it up for agers. ill see it it keeps happening. I was under the imspession that diffrent smokes were diffrent things like black engine, blue its burning oil, white is somethng to do with the turbo. is any of this true or just mith.

hi all I am looking to give my 2003 ba a service tomoro and was just wondering what I have to do I was going to change the oil, oil filter amd fuel filter is there anyting else I should be doing and if anyone has a picture or can let me no how to change the fuel filter would be great. also what oil is everyone on here using I dont want to put any cheap crap in there

got in the car today and drivin down the street and wen I take of and get to 2nd gear at about 3500rpm at blows black smoke out the exsaust also the car seems to be fluttering louder then it normal did. dont no if im getting worked up over nothing but im worried. it is a 2003 ba xr6 turbo with 56000km. dose anyone no y it could be doing this. I am going to be selling the car in about 4 weeks and dont want anything to go wrong with it befor hand

thanks for the offer but im just tryin to do a bit of research first do u no of the power gain if any after installing the f6 intake and is the filter and that the same in the f6 and just the intake size bigger or is the filter itself bigger

sorry to bring this up again I have read through the forum and no there ar topics on this but I was hoping to see some pics of people who have installed pod filter and was wondering everyones thought on whether to install a pod filter or to get a f6 intake and install that insted

spotted BA xr6 turbo blue on reid hwy heading towards the coast debaged and had a upgraded frount mount. nods exchanged as u went past me

not going to belive it but parked in a car park someone has tried to drive throw a parking spot and takin my side mirror of and then drivin of. I am serching around for a second hand one but was wonderng if anyone could give me some instructions on how to remove the old one and install the new one any help would be great thanks

I went to ford to find ot what was wrong and they recon that it is a spring inside the cartrige section of the ignition. he said that he had see this happin in a few of the turbos and some of them had sorted them self out but some hadnt. the only problem with it not sorting itself out is that u can just replace the spring or take it apart u have to replace the whole ignition witch I gointo cost about $600 to get a second hand one put in

not a real serious problem yet but annoying the hell out of me. the car is starting fine but wen I let go of the key it sometimes flicks of. it is having trouble stayin in the on place. I have to let the key back to the second on place very slowly to stop it turning of. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has any idea wat I have to do to et it sorted

dam dosnt look like im gettng as good a deal as I thought. live and learn I guess. I have never being a huge fan of buyin from ebay as I dont really no wat im looking a and wether it would be a fake or not and I was thinking of buyin some and tryin to install them but im not very machanical minded so didnt want torisk getting the car apart possably braking something and then not being able to get it back together
