  1. if there still the origanal coils just replace them as they are known to fail once there subjected to more load than std..... also recheck your plugs as again more boost applied will create more cylinder temps which can open the plug gaps if they are on the hi side of the preferred gapping. Always use genuine ford coils !! joe

  3. you just cant put in a 6r80 input into a 6hp26 with out major mods to the box & convertor, the exedy clutches will also fit the 5hp25, 6hp19 6hp26 6hp28 6hp32 6r60 & 6r80.......... also not all of the clutches will go in the 5hp25 the last time I priced a input shaft from the States for a 6r80 I think it was around $400 US or close to that.

  5. yes no problems.... I've already built box's for interstate customers, regarding the file yes but you send me your X3 or X4 device or I can email the file & then you need to split the tunes.

  7. just on something else we now have our big box shaft out & running I call it the 6r26 its a mixture of the 6r80 & 6hp26 box so its runing the mustang input shaft, billet front plantary housing & the mustang oil pump plus a modified convertor, this box we made was for the coyote boys or a turbo 6 if they want one

George I know you don't & have a lot of repect for you, but I was told that I'm on the best deal as I kept pushing them for over 12 months to get them in it was either the Exedy or the Alto reds.. Hamish I'm happy to pull the clutchers back out & show you whats in there, so yes you have the stage 2 Exedy in there as well as the BMW friction & other bits that I do..
  9. Both I work out what & how many I need in the packs that do the work the other thing is I dont want ppl to start Hamish bashing but I garranty you the box will be perfect !!

I buy them from there & that price is not true.. & Scotty's has still got the nizpro shaft but after we re clutched the box with the Exedy stage 2's we found something that was starting to develop with the shaft and if you pop round one day I'll show you but I wont post it unless Scott wants to.. Hamish I know that you not blaming me but if you going to vent be upfront..
  11. I'm buying the stage 2's from a Exedy importer here in sydney, & to keep the prices down I have to buy 5 kits at a time which isnt a problem as I move them anyway..
  12. lets put things inprospective here the stage 2 exedy kit dose not retail for $900 try $1560.61 & the full seal kit & rebush kit not retail for $100 lets try $486.00 & the solinode kit retails for $770.00 so unless your not getting these new parts changed then what are you getting ?? as as far as the nizpro shaft in Scotty's box well, your right it didn't break the shaft but it f*cked the rest of the box after working out the offset was not right & it totaly destroyed the foward planetary gear set & sent a tone of metal fragments through the whole box & valve bodly which I wore at my cost due to unable to resolve this with nizpro...... drop in replacement yeah right !...... So I looked after this as he's my customer ! the new shafts which are coming will be a drop in replacement '' WITH WARRANTY '' but unfortunatly its taking more time than what I have expected, already there are 2 box's with them & they are perfect, knowing the flaws of the OE & other billet shaft makers out there I know that these shafts will far exeede expectations. So the other 2 shafts that we are waiting on will be here hopfully next week then we are running 10 shafts of the bat & 5 have been alicated to tunes shops in Sydney & Brisbane I can understand this may be frustrating & trust me I want to get them out there But please dont say to me I'm happy to wait then write up something contrary !! joe

  14. always good to shop around..... also with the amount of torque that your making & your sedate driving style I think that you've got your money's worth out of this stock box,...lol lol..

Hamish ask the others to exactly tell you whats going into the box build..... ? what brand of clutchers used ?? what mods if any are they doing to the valve body, if they know what to do ?? are they replacing the solinodes ?? how many extra clutches are going in each pack ?? just like everything that you do, you need to compair apples for apples

    thanks Micheal as always its not all about whats on the dyno sheet... as there's always going to be tuners out there trying to upsell there abilities but yet have nothing to show except for a piece of paper !
  17. the gost cams that was mentioned is only a software tweak that some of the mustang tuners are doing & mainly for manualy operated cars at that, due to the bucking efect that you would normaly experiance when putting big cams in with a stock convertor. IMO the other thing is we do not have the ability to perform this tweak with what we as tuners have avaiable through SCT..... as what we have to what we can have are two different things. So in saying that if we as tuners had these extra tables in the ''variable cam timing'' section avalable, then we can do it to our own 5.0ltrs. speed dencity is the devils work that's why some tuners dont want to get involved, cams do sound great they really dont make a lot of power but do you realy care ??
  18. yeah that's Kev's old car we did the box up to a stage 1 spec which was enough for the level of power at the time, I've dicsus with Trav what needs to be done. We do have some very exiting news that will be anounced regarding the ZF transmissions & I'm extremely proud in what we have & only a hand full of ppl are privy to this,.we will be revising our ZF packagers with the use of stage 2 exedy clutchers & other goodies that's also included, plus a new web site which will incorperate an online shopping section. so yeah I have been a bit slack with my old site but we are busy. the last thing is with our stage 3 box to my knowlege no one that I'm aware of has done this & this box is ready to go just waiting on the convertor to be finished. so as Bachman Turner Overdrive says.......... Congrats Hamish on your new pb of 11.2 when I moved into the new place for some reason my wheather station was out of sink & every car that I had on there was reading heaps lower than normal & the bad thing of it was the more power the car ran the more the error percentage it had, but mainline sorted that out for me & where back to normal with the readings. Also now that the dyno is in the pit making way for the 4x4 section to come very soon its a little lower than the old place which is fine by me.... But as I keep saying to all the dyno is for me a tool to tune with & the true dyno is the1/4 mile !! thanks
  20. when we changed to the PW we could'bt belive the readings so I suggested to Matt not to advertise them as they were un heard of & ppl just wouldn't belive them but if he wants to post them now & see what we got then I'll leave that up to him..
