So I replaced the front wheel bearings about 9 months ago with genuine Ford items and when I go for a drive today the drivers side is as noisy as and sounds ready to collapse. How long is it reasonable to expect a f*cking wheel bearing to last. Go back to HQ Holdens or XA Falcons and they would last 20 years as long as you pulled them out and re-greased them a few times. I would not have done 10,000 ks since I replaced these little cuntox's. I wont be giving the muppets at Ford my $ this time though. Shoulda bought a f***n Nissan I feel better now....... Seriously though these things eat wheel bearing like nothing else.

Mat I did some of the Seasonal events today. Try the 2 laps of the Nurburgring race in the Nascar! Best I got was silver but you win 700,000 for second or 1 million for first and heaps of experience points.

Im starting to wonder if I bought the Silverado SS from the used car lot now.... It was awhile ago. Heres a tip also..... If you need to get something from the used car lot abd want a high turnover in there just start a race and stop it a few seconds in then do that 3 times and nearly all the vehicles in the used car lot will be refreshed with different ones. You dont need to complete the race just start then quit. I finally got myself a Formula GT car last night. is a handful when standard but have it set up really nice now and won the first two races in the Championship so far but both times only by 2 seconds after 20 laps. Anyone else gets it and wants to know the settings try these. downforce max/max diff 15/20/15 ride height -5/0 spring rate 16.4/17.5 damper ext 6/8 damper comp 5/7 anti roll 5/7 camber -2.5/-1.5 toe -0.25/-0.15 trans 390 brakes 4/1

Irrelevant if you already own one but an example of why if your in the market for a second handy that the 06/06 BF is worth the extra $ if you plan to Mod it.

What sort of Fuel economy can be expected out of the Turbo Diesel? Is it the same V6 from a Discovery 3 ?

Most people run a cooler thermostat when they get a tune also and it is 82 degrees from memory which helps keep the Trans cooler during normal use.

01txr, the Ford GT went out of production a few years ago (or maybe 1 year?) and it already had a 5.4 with a blower.....so no.

With the price of some FG F6s getting around it may hit the BF Phoon market hard soon as well so if your planning on selling do it sooner rather than later IMHO.

Personally id say go the PW as the pipework looks more factory where from what ive seen the Plazmaman seems to have shiny pipes that stand out and say defect to the Po-Po. Plus the throttle relocation on the PW shortens the inlet tract length and tidies up the engine bay.
