  1. I thought I would give the seasonal events a bit of a go this morning. Cape Ring in the Mini I got Gold Madrid in the Focus I got Silver Laguna Seca in the Mustang I got silver Tsukuba in the RX7 I got silver and Nurburgring in the Nascar Silver. You get plenty of cash and experience points from these
  2. Agreed I dont like the shape of a FG XR6T compared to a BF. If I got an FG it would have to be a F6.
  3. haha I did the 4 hour race again today. Fark that's a long time to be driving an MX5 for
  4. Thanks for showing that I will get a new heat exchanger myself. Ill have to check if mine has that coolant junction but I guess it will. Does it say KTM (as in motorbikes) on the side of the heat exchanger? Oh and did you lose much Transmission fluid when you disconnected the lines?
  5. It should be immaculate its about 20 minutes old! Looks nice
  6. If you can find a receipt for my bearings your doing well.......
  7. Google found me this.... Also click on stage 2 and 3 Proximity thingy
  8. Some motorbikes use the proximity key setup as well and is a top idea. The system in the FPVs is
  9. Yeah drifting is easier with the controller mainly because of the 900 degrees of wheel rotation on the wheel makes it too slow to get back around imho. Yesterday I got 2 hours 20 mins into the Tsukuba 4 hour endurance in the MX5 and I paused it but somehow also selected restart so when I came back it restarted and I wasted 2 hours 20 on it :bangcomputer: Gutted.
  10. Leave your wheel plugged in and press and hold in the PS button on a normal hand controller (the big button in the middle) and then 4 options come up. Select controller setting, Reassign the controller to controller 1. that's it. After you have finished using the controller press and hole the PS Button and turn off the controller.
  11. Yeah I do the same with the Driving force pro to take photos. What about the seasonal event with the 394 HP RX7.... has anybody had any luck getting an RX7 down near the 800 kilo weight limit? My series 6 wont get anywhere near that. Thought id buy the RE Amamiya Spara drink RX7 (sp) car and then find that its not allowed in it
  12. I have been very happy with CV Performance and Tunehouse gets excellent reviews also so you cant go too far wrong with either of them.
  13. You need a wifi router and the PS3 just connects to your router wirelessly then you connect to the playstation network and when you go to start the game it tells you there is an update (or if you havent been online before there will be 3 updates now).
  14. How can it be made any clearer.... Anything after 06/06 has the Typhoon rods and valve springs. Not just BF MkII. BF built after 06/06......
  15. G6T have you done the latest update 1.05 ? the seasonal events are part of that. I use a Logitech Driving Force Pro wheel that I still have from GT4. Looking at getting a G27 sometime soon. The Nascars at the Nurburgring is a challenge but I found if you just slow down a tiny bit and dont make any mistakes you can get to the front easily ( I finished 1 second behing first) but if you try too hard and make a mistake its all over. When you get it right though they are a blast around there. How about the sebastian loeb rally challenge is anyone having problems winning the Eiger K Trail? I struggled for so long then after a simple change I beat Gold by 3 seconds.
  16. Rosie how long do you get out of wheel bearings and do you run factory ones or aftermarket?
  17. Have you been in one with around 350 plus RWKW at all? Maybe get someone to take you for a drive in something with basic mods making that power and see what you think first. Still drives well etc and will cost very little compared to what your thinking and quicker than 95% of the things on the road.
  18. Seems they have inconsistent build quality to me. Some go in no time others last ages.
  19. Check out the Red Bull X2010 at the Nurburgring..... Cant wait to get this thing. Beats the 6 minute laps im doing in the Formula GT
  20. I bought genuine ones that are already packed.
  21. Taxis getting 500,000 Have read plenty of people getting them done whilst under 50,000 ks (and more in the 20 - 30K range) on them so the taxi drivers seem to be lucky. Offset isnt anything crazy. What about the stub axle what have you seen there? I drive it pretty easy and if it isnt able to handle what I do there is something wrong.
  22. The first set I took off the grease was rooted and very little in there also. Id prefer some old school serviceable tapered roller bearings.
  23. I did it ive been a mechanic since 1989. Not that theres anything too hard about it besides getting the old ones off if you dont have the right tools. After Googling it there are plenty of horror stories about them getting done with very low ks on them. I have bought a set already.....
  24. Had 95,000 on when I put the new ones in but I bought the car with 65,000 so no idea if they where the first set. The weird thing is both times they got real noisy very quickly. Not like there was a slight noise that slowly got louder. Just all of a sudden got very loud from one drive to the next.
  25. Depends on what you want done and your budget but I wouldnt be getting anyone in the Gong to do it. ( I live there also) Make the trip to Sydney.
