  1. that's Farked! Whats next? You sticking one of these on the dash?
  2. My mate is thinking about buying a Ural Motorcycle that is fitted with a factory sidecar. They are available in a Green or Orange Cammo paintjob but I reckon it would look cool in a "Arctic Cam" paintjob. Heres the factory Orange "Desert Cam" Could anyone have a go at doing this style of "Arctic Cam"
  3. Agreed that looks real nice. Whats the go with the factory mags? My boss has a FG XR6T but it has those horrendous looking Snowflake mags.
  4. Id just get a new set of mags. You can get 4 of the "replica" Dark Argents for less than that and then put your tires on those rims.
  5. Yep the ZF will try starting in 2nd sometimes and then it drops back to first when it realises its not as smart as everyone thinks. (or too smart for its own good)
  6. Lou Reed - Perfect Day The Grand Duel - Luis Bacalov The Lonely Shepherd - Zamfir (The last 2 to be played after each other, Watch Kill Bill if you dont know them) Hurt - Johnny Cash One - Metallica
  7. What kind of tyres allow you to give it full throttle in first and not wheelspin? And what power are you talking?
  8. I spotted a Blue Phoon today at the base of MacQuarie Pass with the number plates FPV 666.
  9. The owners name is George and he has a business selling Gas Bottles for forklifts etc in the Markets from the UNIGAS Servo out the front of the markets. I deliver Fuel to the same Unigas Servo every few days so I see his car there all the time.
  10. Not a lot, it will lose a teaspoon full in about 3 weeks I guess. (it sits in the little valley under the plugs) But every so often you get a slight burning/ hot oil smell from it and I wipe it away and its gone again for the next few weeks. Its no big deal doing that but if its an easy fix id rather sort it out also.
  11. When I replaced my coils I noticed that a small amount of oil is leaking from the Cam sensor / VCT plugs at the front on top of the rocker cover. Has anybody replaced these seals before and is there any tricks to doing them?
  12. Yeah its the Oz magazine Motor. Its not in the current issue I read it and im not going to bother going back through past issues when I have already read it. If you dont want to take my word that's cool.
  13. I got done DUI when I was young dumb and full of cum. was .12 and have never done it again. Luckily I didnt kill someone or myself.
  14. Does it still have the original battery? May be as simple as the battery having seen better days.
  15. A link? Its a Magazine im quoting from not a website. Why would I make it up? was just trying to inform of what I had read.
  16. Did you read the above posts? It has been clarified in Motor Magazine that the times are measured when you are already accelerating from below 80. They accelerate from 60 or 70 and the V Box starts timing as you pass through 80 up until 120.
  17. In Motor Mag they have stated that 80 to 120 times are started at about 70 and you floor it and the time starts as the car goes through 80 to 120.
  18. Buy a Legnum TT wagon. Look good and in the manual they are reliable. Have good tuning potential if you get the urge also. Not to mention they are way cheaper than the others mentioned and still have that AWD safety for "The Family" Not to mention they look decent also. If your not familiar with them they are a 2.5 liter V6 Twin Turbo making 206KW from the Factory and can be had for under $10K
  19. Getting BOT, could they have possibly picked an uglier "FPV" wheel? My mates Phoon has them and I reckon 12 slotters would look better!!
  20. Looks good, where did you buy them from?
  21. I drive a Petrol Tanker........ That is all......
  22. Maybe I should have researched it more if that's the case but im happy with the results at this point.
  23. I installed a set of the Weapon X Coils in my car today as the stock ones where starting to break down very slightly under full load in 3rd gear (hadnt in 1st or 2nd) and seeing im planning on upping the boost shortly I wanted to sort this sooner rather than later. It was not even breaking down bad or all the time just sometimes. Anyway once they where in and sorted they made a big difference to the seat of the pants feel. That Crispness that is mentioned is the best way to describe it and it pulls harder than before even when it wasnt breaking down. Not the cheapest option but im more than happy with them. Also on another positive note the coils clip onto the top of the spark plugs rather than needing to be held in by the coil cover so you can leave the cover off and eliminate a lot of the heat that kills the coils in the first place. They get my thumbs up
  24. Found him!!
