Thanks mate I like the look of your wheels but I want the Hiro's in Staggered fitment so I can put some 275s on the rear with the 9.5 inch rim. No arguments there mate they where on the boat when I bought it and have never liked them.....

Be careful on the Sumitomos in the wet as they are useless. I had them on my Riceline and they where great in the dry but lethal in the wet.

Im looking at getting some new wheels and getting HMAS BargeAss lowered on Thursday. Ive always wanted staggered fitment Axis Hiros for it in Anthracite but now you can get Super Hiros in Matte Black with a Red stripe. My last car had black wheels and I love Black wheels on a white car but I dont know which way to go. I feel that anthracite will age better and in 5 years they will still look good but the black wheel look may look average later? Whats opinions....... If there are any Photoshop legends that can have a crack at the Anthracite and the black that would be appreciated also....

I just want to Clarify something as im looking at getting some new wheels and lowered springs later this week. Its stated at the start of this thread that the King Springs SL front springs are about the same height as the stock XR6T springs? Is this correct as I thought they are what most people put in theres to lower the fronts with the SSL's in the rear. Just wanted to make sure I get the right ones fitted.......

Your right I only got up to the train bit this afternoon and it is first class!! Definitely the highlight of the game so far. 1 Thing that Uncharted 2 has over MW2 is that the main game is much longer. Ive been playing Uncharted 2 for 7 hours to get 55% of the way through but I had completed MW2 in that time.

I guess I was thinking what it makes as you drive it every day. For cars that arent used as a daily but Drag / Track specials then I guess what it makes in that mode.

^^^ why a huge leap for Mr Squiggle? He used to manhandle and slide the 500s around long before all the traction control etc make them easier to ride now. Cant wait to see him back in it but if the bikes not competitive it will be disappointing for him.

I have a PS3 I got it the night they where released but you need a 1080P TV to get the most out of it. Didnt think it was that great till I got the 1080P. I have always been a GT junkie and have been hanging out for GT5 and im not really that much into the shooters..... Well I wasnt until I bought MW2 last month after reading all about it. It is amazing and it gets you hooked do quickly and the story side of it actually gets you involved. The levels where you are in the snow are superb. After completing it too quickly I needed another fix so I bought Uncharted 2 and im right into that at the moment and whilst it is a good game it is not even in the same league as MW2 IMHO. The controls of drake in Uncharted 2 are nowhere near as intuitive of the controls in MW2. Plus trying to solve all the little puzzles become annoying I reckon rather than the way MW2 takes you through the story. MW2 is the first Game my Missus has ever just sat there watching as I played wondering what you will have to do next and she was blown away by it, and trust me games are not her thing. Also for the driving sim fans I recommend Colin McRae Dirt and Racedriver Grid. The rewind function on Grid is awesome and has been copied by others now as well. Either way im still hanging for GT5 but the wait has been stupid. MW2 image.

I agree, if your basing it only on running costs then I think you would be disappointed. The XR5 is still a heavy assed thing for a FWD Hatch and being Turbo the economy wouldnt be that great anyway and factoring in the $ it would cost to changeover it sounds like a false economy to me. Besides no one is impressed by FWD skids :3gears A wise man once said "2 to turn and 2 to burn"

Well, after reading this thread and given the fact my car now has over 90,000 ks on it I decided to remove that strainer from my car. I have had many Turbo cars and not 1 has had a strainer on it and none of the Turbos ever seized or had any dramas so given that and the fact ive been a mechanic for 20 years I made the decision to leave it out. I wasnt prepared for just how small and laughable the thing actually is. No wonder the are blocking up and causing dramas. The car is a 09/06 BF so not sure if it differs to older or newer cars. I took a couple of shots to show how small it is. Next to a 5 cent piece........ Here you can see the Carbon on the inside. It is at 4 points around the inside this is just 1 of them the others are spread out around it where the 4 holes are in the fitting. The Carbon that is on there is after it has been cleaned with Degreaser. Hope these pics help. Leave it out

Agreed its not what I would like to do racing like that. If you want to see a bigger stuff up check out the 240Z at about 4.40 !

I Kinda prefer it with the painted stock front bar and the XR8 Bonnet but its a very nice ride either way.
