Ok any recommendations on a Zorst that flows well, Dosent sound ass, and is reasonably priced???

It has a 100 cell cat in it now and the center muffler removed but I may need to look into a decent Dump pipe if I want more power. So far im thinking 325 is enough but then again I thought 280 was enough for about 8 months as well!!

I took the car up to the boys at C&V yesterday for a tune and had a Process West surge tank fitted to sort any fuelling issues. Made 325 RWKW @15PSi. Havent really had much chance to see the difference between the 280RWKW I used to have but it feels the goods so far. Id like to give CV a big thanks though. Only met them a few times but all are good blokes that just love what they do and have plenty of time for a chat about cars they've built or are racing etc.

I fitted some 60lb injectors and got it tuned the other day now im just wondering if the fuel economy readout on the dash is remotely accurate or not? As in is the injector duty cycle involved in figuring out the economy? Because the readouts are saying the economy is way better now than with the stock injectors.

Have you reset the average or is that just the average over the last however many tanks before you bought it?

Go get some staggered rims with 275s on the rear and it makes a big difference. Dont bother with skinny 20s.

When I used to live in Darwin I drove back down to NSW a few times and sat on 160KP/H in my old EB Coon for 10 hours a day whilst in the Unrestricted zones in the NT and what do you know? im still alive? How is that possible based on the NSW RTA and State police Propaganda? How about the fact I regularly hit 270 ks an hour on my bike up there on a public highway? The muppets down here are so fixated on speed and the $ they earn from there Nazi like enforcement that the facts are irrelevant to them. Why not buy a V35 Skyline sedan? Basically the same car you have but with 4 doors. I was in the same boat as you about 12 months ago when my Missus got pregnant and the old R32 Skyline wasnt exactly suitable for a baby seat. I was looking at either a Toyota Chaser, Toyota Aristo, V35 Skyline 4 door, Mitsubishi Legnum, or an EVO 7-9........ Clearly im a fan of imports but my current car became available from a workmate at a price I couldnt refuse, Having said that I regularly wish I had of got something that also Brakes and handles instead of just making power. (but you already owned a XR6T so you can make your own mind up there) Mines a ZF 6 speed and I dont find the driveline to be an issue.

You are a tad sensitive eh Bunna? Even the most Die Hard Ford fan would have to agree that Ford Aus are super slow on the uptake of new ideas or just catching up with others. Let alone there lack of interest in bringing in highly acclaimed models from overseas. Surely theres some Muppet at Ford HQ that has read all the glowing reviews of the Ford Focus RS and yet they still dont bother bringing them in when every car Mag in Oz has basically begged and said it would be a mistake to not bring it in. No R&D required it already exists in Right hand drive overseas so I dont know what there waiting for?
