Your XR8 looked Horn. What are the wheels on it?

Looking at that video id say its definately making more like 350KW @ the fly and not 315 like its stated. So I wonder what the GT makes at the wheels then?

Of course it needs to be taken in context considering what he has been driving around there just saying everyone seems to be pointing out how great it sounds etc I was just pointing out what he said.

Nobody notice Courtney saying it likes to understeer or that the brakes dont like pulling it up? Just trying to keep the hype from the sound in check.....

I made the mistake of taking 1 mate for a spirited spin in mine and then for the next 3 months everytime he had a mate visiting he would ask me to come and take them for a drive........It didnt happen. The last thing I need is no license just so I could show off to a stranger. I also reckon 300 to 350 is pretty ideal for a road car daily driver. Having said that.... A good mate has a LJ Torana with 1540HP at the wheels and its driven every other day and it drives fine and can be cruised easily (regularly does 300ks plus in a day) but he has owned it for years and knows what it can and cant do and respects the power. mind you being able to start smoking the tires at 180 is also fun (in a controlled environment of course).

As far as I know there have been a few making around 385 rwkw that have done a mid to high 10 when all things come together for that perfect run. Nobody has mentioned to get an auto also. As for BF or FG then that's just a personal thing I reckon as both will do it with the right mods but the BF will do it cheaper and just my 2 cents they look better than an FG XR6T. Id be looking at a BF Typhoon over a FG XR6T. Check out this Vid.....Look on page 2 I asked him how many RWKW it had and boost required. 385 RWKW and 18-19 pound boost.

Surely would be easier to put the Motor into an XM or XP and then the roofline would at least be correct.

I was thinking the same? You drove the Auto and thought it was great then bought a Manual? General consensus is the Autos suit these cars better.

There are 3 second hand W427s on car sales at the moment? Im not saying there anything other than overpriced either I was using it as an example that a 370KW Bogan mobile mainly bought by cashed up miners didnt start another supercar scare.

Agreed but its still a HSV with 370 KW and no concerns where raised about its power. And lets face it most people associate Bogans with HSV not an executive.

Like it was stated above this is an XR6T site so that dosent mean you have to automatically love everything that Ford or FPV do does it? If it wasnt for the XR6T I wouldnt have a Ford in the driveway and always have bought the car that best suits me at the time not just because its a certain brand. I Hope that it is an awesome package and blows everyone away..... Just stating from my point of view that after all the waiting the on paper specs are a bit of an anticlimax. The Coyote has been released in the states with the option of a 328 KW version of the motor naturally aspirated. adding a blower and gaining 7 KW dosent really blow my mind.

Yeah I guess it will be interesting to see what it actually makes at the rears.
