  1. Ive got Rota Gforce wheels currently, They're 18x9 +27 all round in Gunmetal Grey with Kumho ku36 265/35/18 all round aswell.
  2. I'm using Nulon 15W50, seams to work well and oil temps are lower then when I was using 10W40.
  3. It's not impossible, It's just not may people have tried it. When I was looking for wider wheels, I got the same story from all the tyre shops saying they wont fit. So I did my research and measured several times, sure enough they fitted.
  4. 18x9.5 with 265 tyre will fit the front, you'll need a +27 or +25 offset. You can get away with a +30 but it depends on the rim/tyre combo and ride hight.
  5. what size cable did you use?
  6. Leave the key on for 5-10 min then try to start it maybe. You said previously that when you went to start it, it just clicks. Was it just one click or did it continue to click while you held the key?
  7. I would say it's a poor connection some where, recheck them and make sure they are clean and tight.
  8. whole pumps or just gears? either way I'm keen on one.
  9. Yeah it a stainless steel xforce dump, Its been trough a few track days now and still perfect.
  10. I've ceramic coated the manifold, turbine housing and stainless dump. It made a huge difference to under hood temps and wasn't too bad price wise. I think from memory it cost about $600 to do all of it including courier.
  11. If you really want to dial some camber in the front, Wholesale Suspension do the race camber kit that can give you between -3° and -5.75° of camber in the front.
  12. Where did you get the Hankook tyres from, I'm wanting a set of them next. Also whats their pricing like?
  13. 36psi hot is a bit high, I run 30psi in the front and 28psi hot in the rear and the tyre contact is almost perfect. I could probably drop 1-2psi in the front.
  14. I ran 275 allround, they were race semi slicks (Dunlop DZ03g's $650 a coner). 70m out from a hairpin doing 180kph, stand on the brakes and they would just chirp once but never could lock them up. My next step is to try and fit Kumho V710 in a 285 uner the front.
  15. Well the widest tyre I've managed to fit under the front of my BF was 275/35/18, But that was with -3.5° of camber. However I previously had 265/35/18 on the front with only -1.0° camber.
  16. With turning traction control off. If you hold the button down the light comes on right but if you keep holding it, the light blinks again. Is the second blink for a different setting for the traction control or not?
  17. With 27mm bar on, the outer front corner of the the car would dip 30-60mm mid corner. If I was to tap the brakes the car would dip maybe another 10mm extra. When I fitted the 30mm bar, it would only dip 20-40mm mid corner. That fact that it lifts the inner rear wheel doesn't really bother me, It's more the fact that once it does the wheel that is still on the ground seams to have very little grip. So what I'm after is a way to increase the mid corner grip of the outer rear wheel. I have tried the factory rear bar with 30mm front previously and the car didn't fell very stable through the corners at all, It was like the back just wanted to slide every where. A few of the other racers suggested that -1.5° of camber in the rear should fix it, but the trade off being less traction in a straight line. Whether or not it's true, I don't know. Regards Mitch
  18. The Tein's are actually the ones for the GTPs, Dampening I think is about 3/4 to hard on the front and about 1/2 to hard on the rear. How many G's, umm not sure exactly I've never measured it maybe .8 at a guess. Ride height Is about 330mm at the moment.
  19. Great thread, It's really help me set my car up. However I've run it to a problem with my current setup. I'm now getting too much diagonal weight transfer, So much so it's lifting the inner rear wheel off the ground on hard corners. Subsequently when this happens the rear wants to start to slide. I've tried putting the 30mm front bar back on which fixed it a bit, but hasn't eliminated it. I was thinking more negative camber on the rear could help but I'm not sure If I would be heading in the right direction or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Current setup: BF Sedan 265/35/18 tyres all round Tein coilovers 30mm front bar 22mm rear bar Front Alignment 7.5° Castor -3.5° Camber 1.1mm Toe Rear Alignment -0.75° Camber 2.8mm Toe Thanks
  20. I think there's meant to be a spring behind there which closes the throttle, But I'm not 100% sure.
  21. The normal cause for this is a malfunctioning door lock. Even though they all sound like they're working, One not locking. Best trick I've found to figure out which lock is the problem, Hit the button to lock the car and as soon as the actuators stop and before it unlocks it self again, try to open a door. If you can't open the door, The actuator in that door is working. Try this on every door and there should be one that opens while the other doors a locked.
  22. Sounds Like its a head off job, Or you could just heli-coil it.
  23. Nah, They're Dunlop DZ03G 265/35/18.
  24. Maybe a lifter pumped up and was holding a valve open?
