My cars a full weight BF XR6T, Rotors 355mm Front + Rear, Calipers PBR-M 6 pot Front, 4 pot Rear. Price wise they cost the same. I ordered both sets from England, It about about 1/2 the price they wanted here for them.
when you were swapping over parts did you change the brake master cylinder or booster at all? If you have it could be one of the push rods out of adjustment. Other wise if could be jammed sliders on the calipers.
EBC Red aren't designed to handle constant high heat from race use, However they are well suited to shorter events like sprints and hill climbs. If you want a great road/track pad try the EBC Blues, I went from red to blues and the bite of the blues are miles better throughout the temp range.
My PBR's are great I've never had any problems with them. Ap calipers are good but I've never liked the idea of not having dust boots around the pistons. It not just rotor size but pad size too, The more pad area you have the less concentrated the heat is.
Yeah both doors need replacing, I got both complete left doors for $500. The car didn't come off too badly, but you should have seen the rear wheel. A spectator caught the whole thing on film too.
I do a lot of circuit racing and subsequently my front wheel bearings are due to be replaced. Obviously genuine would be the best option, but should I get Falcon or Territory bearings? I would think that maybe the Territory bearings may be stronger, But I don't know for certain. Does anyone else know? Regards Mitch
Well I would say how much you remove would be determines by how much you need to cool the brakes, My rotor temps went from 420°c to 340°c when I removed all the flaps.
