  1. nah, I haven't touched the guards. although about 1.5° of camber is needed.
  2. I don't know about the rears but I've got 265/35x18 on the front of my BF on 9.5 +30 rims with a +5mm spacer.
  3. They're made by Bosnjak Engineering in NSW. Fully rebuildable, Massive tapered bearings and have a spindle stiffener to prevent flexing. They're not cheap though at $1200 for a pair, But well worth it considering I've gone through 3 pairs of genuine hubs this year alone. Pre-assembly
  4. Fitted up my new big bearing chromoly front hubs.
  5. They're Tein Performance Spec Part No. QSJ66-EZAS3. They're not to bad on the street but I do have the dampening set quite high on the fronts.

  8. Removing back seats will save about 25kg, fiberglass bonnet 15kg, Spare wheel and jack 23kg, Light weight wheels 15kg-20kg, Towbar 25kg, Front passenger seat 20kg.
  9. Well on track I can't notice any increase in lag, but on the the dyno there's only about 250rpm difference.
  10. No real changes to the to the car handling wise, But the engine has been rebuild since I blew it up last time and it's now got a GTX3582r. I was surprised to beat my previous PB with less power, My aim is for a sub 60 sec once the car's re-tuned back to it's previous power.
  11. Car: BF XR6t Circuit: Queensland Raceway (Sprint Circuit) Time: 60.92 sec Power: 350kw Suspension: Tein Tyres: Hankook Z221 Brakes: PBR-M Weight: 1890kg with driver
  12. What sort of center bearing do you have on the shaft? Is it a F250 style?
  13. Why not set up some paddle shifters? This is what I'm looking at doing.
  14. I made mine from 3mm mild steel plate.
  15. Generally the CAMS scrutineers aren't too picky about the camers, unless it hinders the drivers view. Just take a length of string and tie it on to something as a precaution.
  16. Looks like the bush has jumped over the washer and bolt head some how.
  17. Sound like you've got clutch shudder, It's can be caused by either contaminants on the clutch/flywheel, Hot spots on the flywheel or broken diaphragm spring in the pressure plate.
  18. Yeah more then likely, But it wont be untill I get the car up and running again.
  19. Fitted my 2 new oil coolers, Also made an actuator bracket for the GTX.
  20. They are B series engine mounts on that engine. See HERE for FG mounts.
  21. Car: BF XR6t Circuit: Lakeside Time: 1:04:2982 Power: 376kw Suspension: Tein Tyres: Hankook Brakes: PBR-M Weight: 1890kg with driver Car: BF XR6t Circuit: Queensland Raceway (Sprint Circuit) Time: 1:01:4760 Power: 376kw Suspension: Tein Tyres: Hankook Brakes: PBR-M Weight: 1890kg with driver
  22. Post up a pic of the new shaft when you get it. It'll be good to see what they changed.
  23. Normally yes, but the vibration is not being caused by it being out of balance. It's because the slip yoke is at the front of the shaft and the bearing is to ridgid to allow lateral movement of the tailshaft.
  24. just out of curiosity is it auto or manual? I've heard the vibration problem stems from the center bearing being to rigid.
  25. If you want strong wheel nuts get titanium or forged 304 stainless.
