They're made by Bosnjak Engineering in NSW. Fully rebuildable, Massive tapered bearings and have a spindle stiffener to prevent flexing. They're not cheap though at $1200 for a pair, But well worth it considering I've gone through 3 pairs of genuine hubs this year alone. Pre-assembly
Removing back seats will save about 25kg, fiberglass bonnet 15kg, Spare wheel and jack 23kg, Light weight wheels 15kg-20kg, Towbar 25kg, Front passenger seat 20kg.
No real changes to the to the car handling wise, But the engine has been rebuild since I blew it up last time and it's now got a GTX3582r. I was surprised to beat my previous PB with less power, My aim is for a sub 60 sec once the car's re-tuned back to it's previous power.
Generally the CAMS scrutineers aren't too picky about the camers, unless it hinders the drivers view. Just take a length of string and tie it on to something as a precaution.
Sound like you've got clutch shudder, It's can be caused by either contaminants on the clutch/flywheel, Hot spots on the flywheel or broken diaphragm spring in the pressure plate.
Normally yes, but the vibration is not being caused by it being out of balance. It's because the slip yoke is at the front of the shaft and the bearing is to ridgid to allow lateral movement of the tailshaft.
