  3. I'm fitting a oil cooler to my zf this weekend, so Ill tell you how it goes.
  4. I was having a similar problem, but it would only over boost it 4th. It turned out to be the the values for the boost solenoid were not harsh enough to prevent the boost from running away.
  5. Have you checked the basics like, Are the fans working, coolant level, no water leaks. Even on the hottest days Ive never seen mine go over 1/2 way.
  6. I just fitted mine about 1 month ago. Because the bumper bar support is curved the inner lip will hit the end-tanks of the intercooler, Thus you have to cut 2 small triangles out to allow it to fit. The cutouts aren't that big, about 2x1 cm (See Pic)
  7. Hey guys, I'm trying to track down the wiring diagrams for the accelerator and auto shifter for a BF xr6t. I was hoping someone here might be able to help. Thanks
  8. Check the actual float it the brake fluid reservoir, they can sink over time. The easiest way is, just unplug the wire and see if the light goes off.
  9. I thought that when the engine was running the coils would be operating at 14.3v, because that output voltage of the alternator. So really there's only 1.5v increase using the booster.
  10. apparently the 27mm bars are in short supply. I know there's around 18 people waiting on them currently.
  11. Theoretically it wouldn't be to hard to set it up to blip automatically, all you have to do is alter the output signal from the accelerator as you change gears. Depending on how the shifter functions, it could be as simple as using a resistor, a diode and some wire to get it to blip. Then if you wanted to go one step further you could even make it close the throttle briefly upon up shifting to make the BOV go off like a manual.
  12. BF mkII
  13. Last week I bought DBA4000 slotted rotors for all 4 corners and Bendix ultimate pads front and rear, all up it set me back $1119.17. Edit: Ok found the receipt Front rotors $223 ea Rear rotors $207 ea Front pads $141.34 Rear pads $117.83
  14. Talked with my boss today, turned out to be the transmission causing it to stall, Unfortunately I don't know exactly what caused it because the trans was repaired else ware.
  15. I had a similar problem with a BA taxi at work, stalling at lights ect. I think It ended up being a fault with the actual motor on the throttle body, Ill double check on Monday and get back to you.
  16. Its right hand thread, I would call it a snug fit, best way to get it off if it doesn't pull off by hand try using a puller. Before installing the new pulley, clean crank with some emery paper and apply anti-size. If still a bit tight going on then tap with a rubber or nylon hammer. As for how tight it should be done up I'm not sure, I've always used a rattle gun to do mine up.
