  1. Lol, I just found a article on it BMW
  2. Yea seen a black and a silver one out the front of doncaster laterly
  3. On the way home tonight this 1 series I think BMW took off past me. Had a awesome exhaust note, looked like a performance model series 1. I just looked on the BMW website but didn't find anything that looked like it. I have seen a few of these and they seem to go quite hard for a series 1 and was wondering what specs they are. Anyone seen these?
  4. Nuh I just tapped into the positive wire of the lighter and my earth is on a bolt under the dash on the passenger side. Get a multi meter on it see it there is any voltage there, if not check the fuses as you may have blown it accidently when working on it.
  5. I have my inverter relay spliced into the lighter positive. This is active when acc is on.
  6. Guys was just thinking today if anyone that has done modifications to things such as engine changes, front reo bar modifications etc bothered getting it engineered. Just after some ideas and difficulties people have had getting things engineered.
  7. yea grab a manual tail shaft, modifying your auto one will be more work than its worth.
  8. Nissan Navara
  9. looks great, what internals you use in it? Upgrading to bigger turbo?
  10. Yea now I think about it, what your saying makes sense. Thanks for that I just get paranoid about things lol.
  11. I got a set of coil packs brand new ford ones for $180 off a guy on ebay. Each one was sealed in a genuine ford service bag. Worth keeping a eye out on ebay for these, although there are cheap variants on there. Just make sure you are getting ford ones.
  12. Hey guys, well finally got my header tank installed yesterday, was a piece of piss. All I did was disconnect the big hose and drain the plastic tank into a ice cream container so I didn't get water all over the place. Then removed the plastic one and bolted the alloy one in its place. Connected all the hoses backup and filled it back up with water, ran the car for for a bit while it was at operating temperature with the cap off. Now on the way to work this morning I was thinking I didn't leave it idleing long enough as the water didnt flow out the cap of the header tank. I wouldn't imagine what I have done would cause a air lock in the system but how long should it be left at idle to get rid of air locks? Not to sure about bleeding the system on these cars, as my old had a bleed valve on the front of the head that let the air out. Car drove perfectly this morning, was just a paranoid thought I had on the way to work. any input would be appreciated thanks guys.
  13. The quality must be pretty good still as a lot of cars are making big power on the standard turbo, most failures seem to be due to oil starvation.
  14. Bloody awesome, I have a good in storage I am planning on rebuilding later on. The turbo engine looks awesome in there, might not put a big 8 in it after all. keep up the good work.
  15. Ohh don't get started on the Chev Badges far out they are like on every commo I see in my area, some guys even put them on their sh*tty 6 cyl. I have even seen a guy with a SV6 ute debadged and re badged with SS. lmao Back to topic, I love the 8 bonnet but rather spend the coin on something else.
  16. Ok I will try to clarify it. Centrafuse has its own ODB interface built in, you will find you wont be able to read the figures on the poor ICC screen resolution. DashCommand is a seperate piece of software that is only for reading ODB data nothing else. Its not a replacement for centrafuse, you have centrafuse running and you can configure centrafuse to open Dashcommand within centrafuse so you can have sexy gauges displayed instead of the crappy standard ODB interface centrafuse has. If your happy with the standard centrafuse ODB interface then you wont need dashcommand, Dashcommand is just a application that has more features and more customisable that's all. Hope this clears it up for you.
  17. Looks like this is some sort after info ill see what I can do for you guys. Ill try pull mine apart and write it all down for you.
  18. that's alright, yea I cut a small amount of metal out but you can hardly even tell I have as its all smooth and been painted. PDS = product disclosure statement
  19. Has anyone made a claim with a cooler kit like Rapid's or the likes? Did they worry about it?
  20. I like it, clean it up and give it a polish no one will know lol
  21. Gee they sound like a heap of sh*t, not supprised. Should sell it and get a xr5T for your daily run around, heaps more fun I would think.
  22. Agree, issues like that sound more like neglect. Havn't had any of these problems on my BA
  23. got this intake also, love it sounds awesome and performs very well. Never had any water or crap get to the filter.
  24. Looks good mate, I like the wheels what rubber you put on them?
  25. Are you sure that is what caused it to go into limp mode, last thing I would be doing on a very hot day is skids. Havn't heard of anyone putting a thermo on the auto cooler, could work a treat.
