1. Hey Trent, I'm interested. Would need the Combination Slimline/Standard. Not fussed about pinline or not. Let me know if you go ahead. Cheers Tony.
2. The FG F6 is just this years model. With upgraded bits and bobs, but a very nice bit of gear never the less. (if you can afford it). It will depreciate just like all other cars. The R-Spec is the F6 Typhoon, they just added a few extra bits and pieces, and they only made 300 of them, this is what makes them a little rarer and thus they hold value a little better. Everything comes down to budget. Best of luck with the decision. You will love either one you choose.
3. Not Happy Jan... SCT In a previous post someone was talking about the software can be on various pc's but the tuner requires a dongel to upload the tune to your Xcal unit. My Question is: Can I just find a tuner with a heap of burns left and get my xcal1 programmed and then I only have to worry about this when I go for the next lot of mods? or is my xcal1 a paper weight as of right now? cheers
4. Had the same problem in the passenger side rear.. Ended up being a wheel bearing that was on its way out. Worth looking at.
5. Hey Mate, Just out of interest, did you replace the cat? or did you just do the 4" dump and exhaust? there could be a restriction there if you didn't replace the cat. and 60lb injectors are definitely the way to go. Best of luck with it.
6. Hi mate, when I picked up the Typhoon it also had this exact problem.. Turning left on a bumpy road doing about 30km plus... I would get either a knock or several under the drivers seat. Took it into Ford and they looked at it.. turned out to be the exhaust hitting the chassis, but only on a hard left hand turn and when there was a bumpy road, Ford mechanic told me it was a combination of things but basically, the car was turning a hard left and the engine was flexing causing the exhaust to hit the chassis about 40cm behind the drivers seat. If you pop your head under the car you will be like there is no way it moves that much but apparently they do. Ford just loosened the exhaust and moved it over another cm or so and all fixed now. Might be worth while to have a look. Hope this helps, cheers.
7. Put me down for one. Start here and add yourself to the list.. 1. aussie_dozer 1
8.
On the back of XR68UZ's group buy for the BA remote flip keys, I can organise a group buy for BF-FG keys if you guys are interested.
I'm interested in a BF flip key. Question: Do you just program the BF keys the same as the BA's? cheers
9. They work for me, I reckon get them.. Sets the car off totally.
10. Hey mate, How much interest have you had with these keys for the BF's? I would be interested if you could get one, and are they the same price? let us know.. cheers
11. I had the exact same problems so I downloaded and installed IE8 and it fixed the problem. But I am far from impressed with IE8, lets just say I would wait and see if the mods can can fix the problem and keep IE7.
12. Tab, don't celebrate too soon.. I am running IE7 at home and I still have the same issue, the compose a message screen just does not allign. The Compatibility View does not exist in IE7, so that fix is out. I will try the above method at work tomorrow, but im unsure why the problem is occuring in IE7? Any further tips would be good cause not being able to compose a message is a pain. But thanks for the help guys.
13. I am running Internet Explorer as my browser and I have no add-ons or spam filters/add blockers set. If you have any ideas how to fix it let me know and I will try out your ideas. cheers
14. Hi guys, Unsure if it is something with my computer or the site.. But when I compose a message my screen layout is all screwed up. See pic. Then when I try to send the message it gives me an error, "You must enter a message title longer than 2 characters". As you can see in the pic, there is no where I can see to add a message title? Any help would be appreciated.. Cheers ScreenHunter_3.bmp
15. :ooops: did I break it? Advanced search not working either.
16. Do yourself a favour and give Shannon's a call.. Will save you heaps.. Not many insurance companies wanted a bar of the phoon when I was looking for insurance, but Shannon’s was affordable and actually sounded like they gave a stuff. As for what model car.. BF all the way. My old car was a XR6 Turbo BA Mk2, loved the old girl to bits, but to get any serious power out of her it was going to cost a small fortune, not having to upgrade the BF engine internals will save you a few thousand dollars alone, so, shop smarter now and you'll save yourself thousands in the long run. Good luck.
17. you could always paint your brake calipers until you get a rocking set of brembo's on there..
18. Hey guys, had my car in for a service today and I explained to the mechanic that whenever I took a left hand turn with a bit of pace I was getting a knocking sound in the drivers side front end. They checked it out and found that the exhaust was hitting the chasis rail just below the drivers door. Might not be whats wrong with your car but worth a look. Hope it helps.
19. I have penciled it into the calendar. Will confirm closer to the date.
20. I got MYF00N coming.. they should arrive very soon.. should look hot, Red slim line with white writing.
21. I don't know, I never get bored of Fyshwick

23. Hey Nick, I am also interested in the day.. But will need to wait till you post some possible dates, before I will be able to confirm. Will be good to finally put a face to some of the names on the forum. Cheers Tony.
