So what happens if you’re not driving your own vehicle ? Say you borrowed one off a mate and chirped the wheels, but that was your second offense? Do they confiscate that vehicle or your own ? Plus, doen't some debt follow the car ? that would mean the new owner would have to pay out the money owing on the vehicle ?

Exactly.. Running 376rwkw in the GT-E now... Cost me $152 for an air filter and $700 for a tune.. Cost me over $4000 in the F6 Typhoon to get 350rwkw. Bang for buck, sc V8 is the way to go..

So whats the best option for a person not intending to do any track work ??? 4000's or 5000's ???

Hey mate, Dale at Castle Hill performance managed to squeeze 376rwkw with 800Nm out of the old girl.... He basically said mine is now on the limits of the injectors.. Not bad for a tune and KPM air filter. He did say If I want more power, I need to replace Injectors and boost pulley.. plus all the other bolt ons.. If I can find the cash

After you get your prices from the Canberra tuners, price up some from Sydney. You will be suprised how much cheaper sydney can be. There are more tuners, so they compete for your dollar. My work is done in Sydney now. Love it, drop the car off and go see friends, pick it up in the afternoon. Just an option.

I will miss you to Tab.. Will be good to catch up with everyone again in 12 months. Tab, how did your house go with the storm in QLD ? all good ? no damage ?

6 pots have 4 pot rears.. and 4 pots only have single piston rears.. So I would say 6 pots would pull up a heap quicker than 4 pots. But that's only going off personal experience.

Was there any prior problems before this happened ? was it playing up ? Only reason I ask is I'm a bit sus of my ZF, been doing some weird things of late, not all the time, just now and then, but at real low speed.. like not finding the right gear when almost stopped and then you take off and your in a gear to high for the speed.. and I have no ZF tune or nothing, so unsure how to proceed..

Dale at Castlehill exhaust ran it up on the dyno before we did any mods.. Was putting out a respectable 308 rwkw stock. Then just air filter and tune to take it up to 376. Cheap mods really... Xcal3, air filter and tune = extra 68rwkw. But the next set of mods are the big ones.. Injectors, boost pulley, Intercooler, Header back exhaust and tune. And after you do all that you will probably need to do your fuel pump. So not cheap. But that will get you up near 450 - 500 rwkw... and if you want more you need to replace the blower.. lol..

Car is performing great... Give it a squirt every now and then.. puts a big smile on my face.. Have not done anything to ZF. It seems to be handling the power with ease. Biggest problem I am finding is keeping all that grunt to the ground. Have now got 20x10's on the rear and Tein suspension, I have found that helps heaps. Also, learning not to just tramp it, ease the power on and when your moving then give it the beans. Funny thing is, I am actually quite happy with the amount of power it is delivering, have not had the want more power bug yet.. but in time I will..

Hey guys, So, tune was done (Dale at Castlehill exhaust), heap of KM's on the clock now.. I've done city driving, highway driving, 1 track day.. Currently I am at 16.4L/100Km.. at an ave speed of 54km. Will be good to see how the fuel economy goes on the Snowies Cruise this year.. will keep you posted.

By the time you stuff around getting one made, taking the car to this place and that place.. you would of been better off just getting the Rapid 3.5 kit. I had one on the R-Spec and it was great. Battery and air filter were in the airbox.

Problem will be when she drives it better than him... lol... How would he ever make it to another cruise.. Sad to hear your not coming mate.. Hope you change your mind. Looking forward to having many beers with you guys.

Where have you moved the starter button too ????
