Just wondering if the FG turbo is same as the BA ? Someone told me FG is a smaller turbo ? Also Does FG fit the BA ? Or is the rear housing different,you can un-bolt housing and turn around to line up same as BA ?

Hi My turbo is making a loud grinding noise.I say it's bearings and its not good. I was qouted $1100 to fix bearings or $2200 for new turbo if bearings has worn right thru ? Im thinking,I be better off just buying a whole new turbo and fitting myself ? New turbo are around $1000 ? Wheres best place to get one ?
