  1. Cool thanks man. My only concern is turbo lag. Best way to avoid lag? hmmm maybe I should ask this in the turbo section... Also which parts of the engine would likely to break if that sorta power is getting pushed through.

  3. Hey man, the twin tip was straight from xforce as I was hassling them for ages to have a 4' in to a twin tip, I didn't like the single milo can kinda look. They were really cool and sent me one straight off the press... The exhaust still rattles a bit after getting it fixed a few times... other than that, sounds wicked and comments like. I've got kuhmo ku31s... not bad(I think?)... crazy spins lots of the time when I put the right tyre pressure in.... hmmm so... the next upgrade is $2k for LSD and $2k for a turbo. that's a lot of cheese. So what are my options for the best LSD? I don't have much knowledge around this topic? Cheers,
  5. Hey Henz, Holy cr@p that turbo looks nuts..... !!! It looks like something everyone should have...... like outta some sorta fighter jet..... Why are they so good? If I was to put that bad boy on.... would it be super huge lag??? if the stock turbo was a 5 out of 10, what is the to4z out of 10? Yes no LSD was hilarious taking off hard the other day... one side to the other....... so getting the new turbo would have to have a LSD installed.
  6. Hey People, Been a while since posting. Finally got the Blue Power Cold Air Intake put in the car and got the xcal flash unit upgraded. REALLY impressed with the upgrade. pretty stoked with the power upgrade. car got over 50K on the clock and still going strong. So far mods are: 4" full stainless xforce exhaust. prototype twin tip from xforce, Modified injectors, Process West stage 2 intercooler and piping. XCal flash unit. Blue power CAI. Car feels so much more power now and feels great. Guys at GenTech did a great job. Lots of communication and explanation of things I don't really get..... I want to upgrade the diff next, but not sure... Check out the dyno... pretty happy with it... Steps to hit 350??? suggestions?

Anyone able to give a quick overview about Best ones vs Cheaper sh!t ones? Like comparing Akrapovic exhausts to a Yoshi pipe... ANy help would be great. Cheers.

  9. I get a clunk as I pull up to a stop at traffic lights(mostly notice it). It clunks into first.... gives me the sh!ts. But kinda use to it now.... Its done it since I got the car with 20K on the clock. now has 33K.
  10. no drags yet. I want to use that iphone app that can record 0-100 speeds and try it somewhere quiet. just to work out what it can do. Maybe its my paranoid brain, but yeah I think its getting clunkier. I don't drive it too crazy though. only a couple of oooh-sh!t moments in the wet. yes the 4' exhaust is kinda loud. My new neighbours love it. awesome burble when you keep it in gear and back off after high rev. :D The video that I took of the exhaust the other day peaked the sound levels out of the camera and just sounded so bad... need to move it further away for video....
  11. I got 313rwkw with xcal 3 unit. modified injectors. full 4' exhaust and process west stage 2 intercooler. Next is the CAI. I have no progress of power with each mod unfortunately. Hooked up some HID lights from ebay which didn't work....Need to call them. The gear changes are starting to get a bit clunky now ive noticed.... Not sure of that upgrade cost....
  12. Hey Mate, I'm just under 6'3 and I find it a bit hard to see the traction control light when it comes on...... I do drive with it off when im in Performance mode, so not much of an issue. But yeah its a little cramped for vision.... but yeah big digital speedo... awesome... Revs all ok for me...
  13. thanks man, I too also have this issue where the stereo just sounds a bit average for 'premium sound' I have it set to ROCK and have to lower the BASS levels. I'm keen to replace the sub... I might just take it to a stereo place and get their input as to me, it sounds lamo sound.. I go to crank it and the sub rattles. :-(

  16. I noticed on the weekend something leaking down onto the inner part of my rear right rim... is this a common problem with the diff? What fixes this? Minor or major problem?
  17. Just got back from a trip away on the highway. average economy was 9.3. ....wasn't sure what it was before the tune, but I think that's ok?? Drone wasn't too bad. Without tunes its a little noticeable . yep, gramps took it for a spin and showed me how to do a few j-turns.....he was happy with the power.

  19. Just under the 7K mark. I'm going to detail the sh!t out the car this evening and take some more pics. Ill do the videos then as well. Taking it on the highway this weekend so ill let you know how the trip goes in relation to drone. Ill scan in the dyno sheet as well if I get time today.
  20. Hi Guys, I got my car back now from the tune after the mods put in. Got a full stainless 4" X-Force system. (not a real big fan of the single tip) Process West stage 2 intercooler. Modified original injectors xcal3. I took it into Gentech Performance in Canberra and they did a stella job. Big thanks to Kit for explaining the ins and outs and 'dumbing it down' for the not so mechanically minded person that I am. Kev from Process West was great with his communication with my mechanic that fitted the intercooler. The car reached 313rwkw at 15psi. I've got a tune to tow the race bike, a medium tune and the top tune. The car drives completely normal until you give it the berries. I'm still playing around with the best way to put the power down. DSC turned off and in Performance Mode seems to work the best. The exhaust isn't too droney, I am hoping to put a twin tip on it down the track, but it doesn't look too MILO-tin-ish with the bigger car. Cheers.
  21. I got the xforce 4" system and it fit OK except for the last section was too tight. they had too pump it out a bit.... sounds great. not too much drone, but only driven it across town....
  22. Hi Guys, The process west stage 2 intercooler and the full stainless 4" xforce exhaust and got it fitted at my mechanics. I drove it over to the tuners and no engine light came on which was cool. I really wanted a twin tip on it, but ill have to get a twin tip later on as the one I got won't kinda fit. The sound from the exhaust pre-tune and super low revs was freakin cool. not droney or anything. Will let you know after the tune and full revs... :D
  23. Thanks guys, yep ill be going across very slowly... cheers. The engine light will be freaking me out, but if its just the O2 sensor, then no worries. Yep its a full stainless 4" system with the process west stage 2 intercooler. Then take it to the tuner to fit up xcal3 + injectors and tune. Just don't want to blow the engine up....
  24. Hi there Getting a full 4"xforce system and a process west intercooler stage 2 on this week. It's getting fit at my mechanics, then getting tuned at another place across town. Will it hurt the car by driving it around without it being tuned properly. (I would rather avoid driving it, but it has to get there somehow) Apparently the engine light comes on....? Anything else to be concerned about? Cheers,
  25. I've had the timing cover bolt faults with seeping oil. A rubber seal burst and all my coolant drained out(which luckily I noticed before too late) Clunk into first also is an issue which the FORD guys I think that there is an update to fix it....? Also its seeping oil at the top of the engine. I showed the FORD guys and they said its pretty normal to have engine seep a bit of oil out of the top as 'blow back' or some sh!t. Like an engine overflow. Now im no genius when it comes to engines, but oil leaking out isn't a good thing. Have you guys seen this on your car? It's getting serviced tomorrow for its 30K. HOpefully happy days after that.
