  1. shocks can make a massive difference to tramp. it can be a bit hit and miss though trying to find the right setup. one thing's for sure, tramp rods/caltracks will stop it completely. I made mine fairly cheaply and can launch it, full noise on concrete with out one bit of tramp. Mcdonalds brothers also do a set $650.
  2. you could make that cold side all one piece couldn't you.
  3. allmtr the core in those are 500 high, 400 wide yeah? looks good
  4. out of interest, anyone know how much e85 at warick is.
  5. so e85 is marketed for the performance market only? wouldn't of thought there is enough of a market to make it viable. good for us though..
  6. might be a noob question. but I'll shoot away. with e85 needing so much more, when joe bloggs see's e85 at $1.00 and fills up his family wagon. what will happen with performance, the fuel system.
  7. interesting to know. I've probably asked before, but what b/s and width are your wheels staino
  8. If its anything like mine was, don't worry about a file, get an angle grinder or die grinder.
  9. ^^^reading is over-rated.... that's an impressive 60 wright'y, well done. how do you think they would wear on the road?
  10. Ha ha. Someone mentioned per-spec and I straight away thought of flimsy 4-5 mm thick stuff. That's why I said half inch. I clearly have no idea what it would cost or if its even available.
  11. looking good man. like others have said, if you can make it look exactly like that picture, you'll be on a winner. what to use for the centre I'm not sure. you want something that will still have a solid feel about it. per-spex might be the go if you could get it half inch thick or so.
  12. I don't think strength will be a problem. it's solid around the whole outside/inside, should have zero flex. when bolted down would be solid as. good work on nutting through it.
  13. would be a shame to do all that work, then paint it black. as you say, you can see a lot more then we can.
  14. second one. I think the first will be to big a gap and to round.
  15. as everyone has said, awesome time. so did it run 10's all night, or did you do just do the one? good 60 too, shows how well the gtx comes on. awesome car man, well done.
  16. it's only a couple of kgs different between them turbo_guy and thicker is only ever easier to weld. I'd go the 100, 50 will look to thin. that orange thing is 75 or 100, imagine it 50, would look to light, not enough body. sorry for the off topic staino.
  17. If your going to paint it or powder coat, just use painted stuff. 100 wouldn't hurt, give it a bit more body you know.
  18. how good are the computer drawings, they look awesome . well done.. maybe just a bit of shiny, tubs and main frame.
  19. cheers ralph. your a champ. CJF077 what's a support ticket?
  20. yeah it might actually be me, with a different email address.
  21. yeah that would be great. that's what I am on most forums. not sure how I stuffed it up.
  22. when I first tried registering to xr6turbo I think I put in the wrong email address or something. anyway I log in as .justa6. and my username is yeahyo. if I can be changed back to justa6 that would be great.. thanks marty
  23. I would of thought solid mount is the problem. probably work harden and do it again.
  24. ha ha waiting around for a few seconds sounds like the go. good work man. fantastic power on that turbo. would be so responsive.
  25. So 733rwhp and 139mph isn't a good enough test for you. Not saying that plazmaman and the like are not better, just are not needed in a lot of applications.
