  1. My mate put federal 595 on his 550kw fg. He said they were unreal. sh*t all over his 17" Mickey Thompson et.
  2. Get tapatalk. Takes 10 seconds
  3. Looks good. What size b/s are the fronts? The rear's should poke a couple of inches?
  4. Seems pointless with how early you can get a good turbo on boost.
  5. I lean mine up against a wall. Put the hinge side down on some wood or something. I probably couldn't see a problem with hanging it from the hinge either.
  6. Sorry was wrong there not tube chassis, I thought it was. 1655kg , powerglide.
  7. Full tube chassis with the panels put back on. I don't think it's light though. I remember seeing weights in the back to help with traction.
  8. 10.8 is nothing special. I thought they are ment to be way better.
  9. What rim is that on rednose ?

    Fg Ute Axle Tramp

Wheel/tyre shouldn't have an effect, all though different levels of grip can. Tramp is the diff trying to rotate forward and up, then when it can't go any further, it hops back. As for the creaking, just try spraying all the tramp rod joints/bolts with WD.
  11. Let us know what sort of fuel figures you get out of it.

    Fg Ute Axle Tramp

Tothefloor has had success with a 10mm leaf. A diff builder also told me he gets good results with it. 2 conflicting story's about the mal wood rods.
  13. That is cheap. Vpw $269

    Fg Ute Axle Tramp

Some mis-leading info in here. I can assure you caltrac style rods will stop tramp no matter what height the Ute. The problem is they are underneath the leaf so you lose quite a bit of ground clearance. I made mine for minimal cost and can leave the line full throttle, 15psi and zero tramp. Another option (I hear) works well and someone else has done it in this thread, with good results. Is replace the main leaf with a heavier 10 mm leaf. Also solid mounting the leafs to help remove twist. Spending 6k+ for a 4 link on a street car, to stop tramp is ridiculous. If it is the way you wanna go though, McDonald brothers do a 4 link for half the price.
  15. It wasn't long ago we had 220-260kw cars and people complained, now you can buy a supercharged 5 litre pushing 400+ kw and people still complaining. As dagabond said, compared to a stock falcon these things are a race car.
  16. I made some caltracs style bars on mine. As Robbie said, they stop tramp 100%.
  17. With the zero info given, I'd still say 1.01. Still capable of making bulk power , just come on a bit earlier.
  18. Street or strip, what tyres? Top effort.
  19. How much power has you got?
  20. Find a 16x8 mag sorry.
  21. If you are keen on the drags and plan on going a bit, you would really benefit from the 16" with some et street radials. Only thing, the 16" wheels are probably only 6 or 6.5", not really wide enough for a 255. Would have to get them widened or maybe find some 16x7" mags.
  22. Definitely a sexy looking exhaust.
  23. I had one with damage similar to that. Didn't seem to worry it. There would have to be some kind of loss, but I didn't notice any.
  24. What sort of paint Aussie.
  25. You know this for a fact do you?
