Maybe. I think the standard actuator on the FG is around 8 pound or something near that. Try 12 pound actuator and see if that helps.Maybe even try 15 pound.

lol. Im sorting of having the same problem atm with my new ported turbo. Maybe they ported it too much and its bleeding boost. Or another prob may be the flapper arm is getting caught on something. On mine I found that the flapper arm had been bent slightly and it may of been rubbing on the exhaust joiner, so I grinded the joiner back a bit to give it full freedom of movement again.

Yeah mate. Go back to standard until you can get a tune or you will be up for lots of $$$$ when the motor goes BANG!!

Im about to get a tune done soon and hopefully get 380rwkw or there abouts. Been doing some reading and hearing some stories about the tailshaft and parts there abouts breaking. They seem to be breaking around the 400rwkw mark. Obviously alot dont but quite a few have. Any thoughts?

Hi guys. Quick question. Im looking at getting a boost gauge and a fuel presure (electrical) gauge for my FG. I was also looking at getting maybe some digital ones as well.. dont have to be though, just accurate readings. Was wondering if any one knows of any dealers here in OZ that sell them. Dont have many up here. Also anyone know where I can maybe get the duel or three gauge holders from. Cant find them anywhere?

stock turbo and actuator limit I believe is where im roughly at which is 330rkw. All I have is 4 inch intake, 3.5 x force system, pwstage 2 intercooler,60lb injectors and surge tank for insurance. The actuator is quite good. Im about to fit a bigger turbo to replace the smaller FG and my tuner (Blueboost)says he might use the same actuator. So the car will be hopefully pushing 380rwkw with stock actuator. Will keep you posted on how it goes. And with the valve springs im only just now doing them with the turbo now for insurance. So they still good for a bit. Hope this helps..

Hey QIK1, I have a quick question for you. How did the federal 595rs hold with 380rwkw? Im about to get the car up to that power next month and im looking at some new tyres. Also, how do they go with your new power. Not sure many tyres will grip 1st gear with the zf, but anything after that would be nice.

Good luck with the tune. Hope you get the power your after and im sure Dave is the man to get it. Just a quick question seen as most of you guys been there. What are some good street tyres for say around 400rwkw. Will be fitting new turbo soon so would like some good rubber to handle the extra power.
