  1. Hi all, I have a question for all you experts out there. I have recently had my diff bushes replaced with these new type polyurethane I think they are, as apposed from the old rubber types. Now my problem is this.. From around 70km/h onwards I start to hear a whine from the back end and between 94-96km/h its at its loudest. Quite annoying to hear this loud constant whine. Also at cruise around 105km/h its also quite painful to listen to. I find under light acceleration and keeping constant speed the whine is there, however when I back off it all but goes away. Now the people that serviced the car and replaced the diff bushes said to me that its the gear set that is gone and it will need replacing, however I am finding this hard to believe as there was nil noise there before they replaced these bushes. Also they said my tail shaft centre bearing was wearing and needed to be replaced, but I held off on that as they said they could not do it and it needed to be sent away to get done as they could not do it there. The car has only done 64000 km and is a 2009 FG turbo. They blamed the wear on the power the car makes and said it has worn it down but yes I have 370rkw but I rarely flog the car and usually drive it like a grandma.. lol Anyway any help or suggestions would be great as like I said, I'm not really keen to replace the gear set if I don't have to. All I know is I cannot keep driving the car with the whine it has now.
  2. Have about 400rkw. Around town I average 350-400km and on highway around 550 km. I rarely flog it and mostly drive it like normal people. :sungum:
  3. FG . Better interior and easier to build up the power.
  4. HI 234Fpv. Let us know how u go cause you have similiar work and power to my car except I have the auto. Dave done my tune as well I have just had a water / meth kit fitted and should hopefully be in the 400 rkw as well,
  5. Ya I think my bf turbo maxed out at 350 when I put in my FG. Got xforce 3.5" system and gets near 400rkw now. I still like the FGs turbo but. More bang at the start of rpm. just runs out of puff a bit earlier .
  6. You dont need to change your exhaust until you want power over 340 ish rwkw. They are good till then. Just get cat changed until then. Save $$$$ and get other stuff first.
  7. Hi all. Was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some Methanol for my water/meth kit in the Townsville or NQ area. Cheers

Transmax z for me and have had nil probs so far. I quite like it. Works well in my opinion.
  10. Same. Wish I could go. Stoooooooooooopid work
  11. I use 60lb siemens injectors and have no probs with them yet. They seem to do quite fine.
  12. Cause when you upping the car for what its worth and you say hit 19psi ish then change into next gear then gauge light comes on saying you just hit 23pis ish... that's overboost
  13. Dont worry about changing the zorst. It is good for 330rwk. just need to change the cat. Should save $ there.. Just do Cat and tune if you want to start small. That should get you some more power..
  14. I had standard springs in mine at 340rkw. Since then I have now changed them. I wouldnt want to push any more power then that out of the standard ones. Better to be safe than sorry I say....
  15. Hi Veva. Im keen for 4 x 245/40R18 in the NT05.
