  1. Thanks k31th. This sums up exactly what I've been hedging towards. Keep it clean Cheers mate.
  2. Hey all... It's been a while since I've been on the forum. I have a very clean 2005 BA MKII XR6T with 126K on the clock. I bought the car in 2008 with 75K on it and have mostly kept it garaged for a long time since. When I first bought the car I had CV Performance provide a mild tune via an SCT XCAL unit that took me to 250+ RWKW. Given that these cars are now appreciating in value I'm interested in other people's opinions on spending $'s to go to various stages of modification to increase the value further vs keeping the car relatively unmodified for a potentially better resale down the track. From an enthusiast perspective what do you think is more desirable? Modded to stage 2+ or keeping things generally clean? Thanks.
  3. My attempt at this, also didn't want to go too overboard.
  4. Wow, well I can say I heard it here first. Stunning news.
  5. Wow, I just found this thread. I have an EOS 1000D and didn't even know about HDR until now. I know what I'm doing this weekend !
  6. Thanks for the info Daifu, this is really helpful as I've been thinking about upgrading the brakes on my BA as well. If I get them sent up from Vic I'll post info on postage costs to NSW. Cheers !
  7. I'm sure he's not disappointed being paid to drive/flog an FG F6 , but he does look a little disappointed as I go past at about 45. I'll bet as he sees the nose appear around the corner he's expecting the car's a prime candidate for revenue collection.
  8. Castle Hill must have got themselves a new FG F6 in Octane because I've seen the same one twice sitting in Ambleside Dr as a mobile radar trap in the last couple of weeks. He looks disappointed every time I drive past.
  9. Holy crap, I really have to order that ETM line, can't believe oil feeding the turbo is running through something like that.
  10. Something I found when flashing back to factory is if your plugs have been set to 0.8 she won't want to run well at idle, if at all. I had that problem, asked CV about it and they said if I wanted to flash back to factory it'd be best to reset the plugs to the standard gap size, which isn't quite as simple as just flashing the ECU.
  11. After some google searches I found the solution. For whatever reason when you select the UPPERCASE PIDs it doesn't work. Selecting all lowercase PIDs works a treat. Problem solved, go figure.
  12. Any ideas when the new program might be out? I'm not using LiveWire I've got LiveLink installed..
