Thanks for the reply pazzo. Out of interest, is there a series of engine better than the other? Like better cams, springs, bigger rods ect? I am not too sure if there are any internal differences between the Ford models that have this engine.

Hi, not too sure if this is the most appropriate section of the forum to be asking so if a mods thinks it belongs else where please feel free to move it. I am wanting to buy a brand new xt6 turbo long block. Does anyone know if a ford spare parts dealer will be able to sell me one? If so, has anyone priced up a long block before? I know I could easily find out by a quick phone call but being the weekend I am unable to do so, so if no one is able to answer I will phone on monday and report back in case anyone else is curious.... thanks

Hey, Looking to find out where I can find some XR6 Turbo motors. Ideally I am just after a long motor, with or without turbo, with or without ECU / wiring... I have called a few wreckers around Brisbane area but no luck. I did call a place in Melbourne whom wanted $3300 for a long motor without turbo, engine done 58,000kms. Can anyone point me in the right direction and give me a price range of what to expect? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
