Stock the 360's in particular sounded ordinary, but some of the 355's and others with exhausts sounded a bit bitter. Still don't have anything on the 550's.

Does anyone else think that the V8 Ferrari's don't sound that fantastic? I heard one after the True Blue XY had gone past and wondered how people could love the noise the Ferrari made so much? It just doesn't sound tough or 'nice'..

Some pics I took from the Prologue at Vic Park on Wednesday. Jeez there are some nice cars out this year. The Mustang was my favourite, he was just playing up to the crowd. I am heading to Windy Point on Sunday to get some more pics, how good is this event?! Anyway, off to town for another look, all the cars are parked up somewhere and there are BBQ's and beer at the pubs.

Is anyone going to watch Classic Adelaide on the weekend? I am going to go have a look at the prologue at Vic Park race course after work. The competition cars are meant to run from about 3ish. Should be worth a look as there is some nice metal out this year. Last year was brilliant and I am looking forward to seeing more of the event this year. P.S. Sorry to hear about your car Cain, I know how you feel, best of luck with the repairs.

Go Ambrose this weekend. Would like to see Seton win it if Ambrose doesn't, that would be brilliant. Lowndes looks pretty good up there this year though..

Terry I have been to the V8 Superbar, it's not too bad but like you said, more Expensive Daewoo morons (as in bogans) there than intelligent people. I went there for a round last year and it was not a bad atmosphere, just a bit too far away that's all. ZMAN I reckon I have seen that ute around as well a long time ago. I am putting $10 on Bright to win Bathurst. I just have this wierd feeling. Last year I had $10 on Radisich/Wilson who qualified way down the order. They were 66-1 and were second at one stage till the motor gave up..

Hate to burst your bubble, but the Expensive Daewoo plant was down for almost a working week (3 shifts) because they were upgrading the bits for VE during August.

Because it takes till about 2000RPM for the turbo to get enough exhaust gas through it to really start working?

Poor Raikkonen can't seem to get any luck.. Nor Webber for that matter. Nor the Crows. Hmmmmm.. This weekend will be perfect if the following happens: *Crows beat Port *Ambrose wins Sandown *Raikkonen wins Belgian Grand Prix and Alonso does not finish. (And a Webber podium)

I can't believe people are writing them off after 2 bad games after how many years of utter dominance. They will be fine.

I have driven both stock and modified S15's as well as owning an XR6T. The S15 is faster in the hills but slower in a straight line. Simple. Some of you should go take one for a drive, they are quite good little cars and will probably suprise you with the pace they hold through corners. Just don't get caught out below 2500RPM going up hill! Nothing like the monster torque of the Barra motor!

Lucky bugger! The E55 is my favourite 4 door car out there. Its subtle yet destroys all in its path. What did the supercharger whine sound like from inside?
