that's why if I only put a volt gauge, exhaust temp and the aeroforce gauge it will be alot safer than the others..those gauges dont move as fast or often as something like a boost gauge

explain more stazza firstly what is a single DIN? it would be dangerous but so is looking at changing air con or ipod... I only want to put a volt gauge, aeroforce scan gauge and exhaust temp down there but want to keep the bottom tray so I can store my stuff there lol

I have never noticed anything wrong with my car...until a couple of weeks ago when I had 4 friends in the car, I noticed when I hammered it I felt vibration coming from the rear of the car at my best guess. It kinda sounded like it was coming from the diff but it would only do it when I floored it while I was going slow....I couldnt get the same amount of vibration if I planted it while crusing. It just seem to be when car was being hammered from going slow.... anyone got any ideas on what this could be? the car is 03 BA xr6t. Its never happened any other time only with a full car. I thought it might be: something to do with diff? tyres unbalanced tyres maybe scrapping body?

Just interested to see if anyone has put 2-3 gauges in where the tissue box is? I thought I could "best" utilise this and use the top half of the tissue box to house 3 gauges...only problem is I need a gauge holder for it... so any info or pics would be good

LED's are let down by that dot look I think. too bad its not like the halos where its fully illuminated

This could be same for me. It was left hand side so right up the bottle neck on the hot side piping..... I already had two spare a I had to buy another set of halos because two didnt go...

has anyone had any problems with the black boxes that connect to the halos? I noticed two halos didnt light up on one side of my car this morning....everything was connected right but the little black box got hot very fast. Then I noticed there was a straight line of burnt plastic that buldged out above the cables that lead to the halos. I took some pics and will upload them later....I have put my F.E back in the car just incase it catches alight lol anyone else had any problems with them??? Id say its pretty rare for this to happen and they have been in there awhile now...

is the difference between an f6 and a f6 r-spec all that noticeable? apart from suspension and brakes is there really all that much difference?? excluding rareity

what would you guys pay for the R-spec? Considering the FG F6 is around that 46k price range

and what sort of price are 2nd hand FPV alloy wheels (not dark agent) and F6 gauges selling for???

lol nah its good because I dont want to waste money by choosing wrong car FG definately dont do it for me...... so they are basically the same car engine wise...hmmm damn I think I will change my mind more than you did lol

Havent found a xr6t yet still hunting for it. If I going to tune it and keep it for awhile I need to find the one I want that's why it like finding a needle in a hay stack. Thing is with xr6t I would need to upgrade brakes as well to get cert here in NZ.... BF2 xr6t cars are going for around $28k here then I got suspension..r-spec suspension is meant to be alot better.... not too interested in FG, wanted a BF2 because of the phoon parts in it. Nice car + powerful + realible.

R-spec - $40k buy (or near as they want 46k) + mods later on xr6t - $28k plus 10k mods = 38k with hoipefully a power level of around 330kw But with the R-spec I would sell the wheels as I would prefer the dark agents on it(probably have to be originals damit $$$). Gauges would also be sold too. A little money back I guess

I have a problem and need peoples thoughts... on one side I have a 2008 FPV Typhoon F6 R-spec with leather seats prem sound etc etc the whole lot with standard engine for a listed price of $46k (that needs working on ) BUT on the other side I am searching for: an 07/08 BF MK II turbo in shockwave blue with lux pack and premium sound which I will then get tuned and modded with: fuel pump, injectors, perf sparkys, race intake, big cooler (basically a process west kit apart from plenum) and a tranny cooler at this stage. Im not 100% sure on what power I would be looking at @ 12psi. What are your thoughts?? On one hand I could spend ALOT of money on a collectable as only 300 made then tune it which is more $$ or spend less and buy the other then tune.......What should I do? The worst part of this is the misses is trying to make me get the r-spec :D

Yeah dealers are getting bad...... I got mine to install the sensors for my gauges e.g oil press and exht temp....they dont me what side to get the nut welded on for the exhaust temp.....they wanted it on the motor side of turbo....didnt think it would fit but got it done and wow it didnt fit so they had to get it rewelded but felt good charging it for me...when I buy my new car ill do all servicing etc myself......they are just glorified high school drop outs that charge a %$%$# load too much.

can you get an 07 BF MKII turbo in shockwave blue or is it only on phoons?
