Right, now that I actually have the right forum I have a question.. About to buy some oze gauges for a pole position pod. I saw this on this FAQ page: Do you sell the fittings to install the gauges into my vehicle? No ... the purchaser is required to get any specific fittings for their vehicle. The gauge kit comes with the wiring harness, sensor and universal pod. You may need to extend the wiring harness ... four core alarm cable is a suitable choice (Jaycar or Dick Smith). General consumables such as insulation tape, heat shrink tubing, solder, connectors etc are not supplied. Has anyone bought these gauges before? If so what else is needed that doesnt come with the gauges? Plus extend the wiring harness? how much.... life would be alot easier if they just gave you everything you will need, not like they arent charging enough ... Oh any problems people have had with these gauges feedback would be awesome

Stever did you leave rings in or take them out? Do they need much silicone to stick them in? What happens with the power inverters??

I prefer the gauges to be on the dash, its just finding the right now so many people have problems with all that Ive seen. There must be one that stands out surely...

I have been looking at all the forums here about the big debate on gauges. I am trying to figure out if I want a dual or tripod. Dual seems like there needs to be another yet the tripod one looks like theres too many People have also talked about angle and seating arrangement. Crikey I had a big enough battle going on in my mind So now it brings me to the million dollar question. What gauge pods are best for someone who is 6ft 2 has seat on lowest setting and 3/4 quaters the way back and is very fussy when it comes to quality/asthetics. Any help would be good

Can you get them any longer?? Seems you have like quarter of the circle is missing around the top of the light. Is there a preferred way for making it look really good taking rings out or leaving in? Also wouldnt it be better if you took the park lights out? So it was just the halos.

I dont like the xr6t bonnet, I find it hard to tell difference between xr6 and xr6t.. typhoons bonnet same?? I cant remember but I sure one of those cars has a small buldged bonnet with smaller black decal down sides

yeah Im so sure the xr8 bonnet buldge is larger than the GT...reason I ask is because I want to fit a GT bonnet onto my car but I wont if it is the same as the xr8 bonnet

are the GT bonnets the same as a xr8 bonnet?

this is what I had in mind: A venom red xr6T *like one in my profile :D* dark grey tear stripes (the same grey found on the F6 dark agents) a B series GT bonnet with grey stripes instead of the black ones (grey matching the tear stripes and wheels) Dark agent phoon wheels still thinking about the side and rear of car......any tips or advice???

BA I wouldnt want to try hard like that guys car in the picture to copy it exactly I mean you would want some originality....It aint my aim to make it look like a FG but rather a mixture of BA and FG with my added touch....

haha very true I think the new f6 have a sort of modern european paint job unlike the older models with more of a tough plain paint job which looks awesome too .... It would be hard trying to copy it due to difference in body shape...I need a good painter with a good imagination

Has anyone seen or have any pictures of a xr6T with the same sort of paint job as the new F6?? specifically around the front head lights. I think the f6 looks awesome with the headlight tear but I wouldnt mind stealing some of the awesomeness and putting it onto my car

I bought a BA at the start of the year..was my first falcon cost nearly 18k wand had 75,000km on it so not cheap but already ive had suspension troubles coursing a problem with my alignment. Now I have an odd noise when turning hard sometimes, some sort of bang noise when turning wheels from left or right or right to left. Lucky for me I have a mechanical warranty for next 3 years..if I can give you any advice it would be this: dont buy something you cannot afford, if a BF is all u can afford I would spend that little bit more and buy it from a car yard WITH an additional mechanic warranty. If I hadnt then I would be very poor **Wonders if its possible to fit a 6 speed auto in a BA**
