Hey Guys I own a 2009 Fg xr6 ute and want to do a few mods for a bit more power. I have been told to upgrade my air filter as the stockie is quite restrictive but what do you think would be the most cost worthy mod for a good power gain. Cheers

BTW your ute looks very nice, don't go bending it around a tree Thanks I will try and avoid it. lol He was about a good few car lengths behind me and I totally agree that the ecotech has absolutely nothing on the 4.0ltr. LOVED THE LOOK ON HIS FACE AFTER IT!! PRICELESS

Hey guys, I have not long owned a n/a fg 2009 xr6 ute and am absolutely loving it. The ute is still pretty standard with the only exception being a xforce 2 1/2" cat back mild system which has really given it a lot better flow and is a lot more responsive. anyway this guy challenged me to a drag the other night against his VU II Late model camira ute s pack with the only mods being a full redback custom exhaust. I absolutely smoked him by the way; after 200meters the race was already won. Now this idiot being a poor unfortunate Expensive Daewoo fan has gone and priced a bigger cam,performance chip and a ss growler just to try and beat me. Just wondering what you guys think the result will be after he gets these mods done!!????... Cheers

Yes would love a turbo. I actually work for the blue oval and get to drive lots of them including a 2007 GT cobra Rspec that we just bought that has only been driven once and im the second!.. anyways I love my ute and cant wait until I am old enough to drive a turbo (im only 17 now)

Hey Guys I have just got off the phone from Red Back as I am looking for just a cat back system for my FG N/A however Red Backs response is that they have not developed a setup yet. Just wondering what you guys have done/recommend so that I can get some sound!! Cheers

They are 20x8.5 I really like the look of them however wouldnt mind them wider on the back to fill the rear guard more but the rubber is cheap on this so its good.

Yes loving the new height just need to get a better exhaust under it and improved performance!

Finally got some pics of my new ute. So far it includes 20" advanti alpha wheels. 20% tint, ECB Power Bulge hard cover. Front SL King springs and Rear SSL Leafs. Looking for a better exhaust/extractors and more power..what to do next ??????!!

Had my ute lowered on the weekend with king super lows in the front:FOR303SL which dropped it about 25mm and super super lows in the rear:KFF40SSL which dropped it about 35-40mm. Car handles sh*teloads better and doesnt scrape on anything so far. Very happy with how it sits as it is now level however I may in the future lower it a little more in the rear... anyways tell me what you think Cheers

Just ordered springs from king I ended up with super lows on the front which will lower it 25mm which is approx what I was looking for however the best they could do for the rear was ssl which the guy said would only lower it 35mm which is a fair way from what I was looking for (approx 70-80mm) is there any way I can make these rear springs lower (keeping in mind I have already ordered them) Cheers
