its a problem on both the shift up and down but not all the time. you can feel wether it has gone in to gear beacuse it feels like it goes a little further in, you can also feel when it dose not go in. could the gear just be tight beacuse it was replaced in 2007 or is there a problem? What was the problem with yours XR06T and what was the cost to get fixed?

how offten should the trans fluid be changed?? it only has 76000km on it and has been servied by ford. THanks

Hey I am new to this forum and have just bought a XR6 N/A 5 speed. there is a small problem that every now and again if you do not feel the gear go all the way in it pops back out. when I bought it the guy siad that in 2007 he had problems with the gearbox and took it back to ford and had 2 and 4th replace under warrenty. he said that now and again it pops out but it is just that the gear is tight to get into? is this ok and what do I need to do to fix it and stop it popping out?? Thanks in advance
