  1. I think that you will have to put the airbags and/or have the rear leaves reset at the same time as you fit everything. The std. leaves are only rated to 500Kg. You will probably be at your limit with all the gear you are putting on the tray. I ran just the airbags for about 4 years, and they are good. But you still have limited suspension travel. Last year I had the leaves reset using the bottom 2 leaves, which don't appear to do any lift. It is an excellent set up with the airbags and uprated springs. I now know that is what I should have done in the first place.
  2. ^^^^ It's a bugger telling jokes if you have Alzheimer's.
  3. I would assume it still has the original diff oil. The LSD could be shattering, so just change the diff oil. It would be due for a change with those Kms.
  4. I found that the A/C works better for me, to just put it on AUTO, and let it do its own thing. Rather than go through all the manual settings.
  5. The phone emblem on the button on the wheel, is on all of them. It is not an indication that you have bluetooth. I use that button to pause the stereo etc. I don't have bluetooth on mine.
  6. That Gundi dealer is probably right. Factory warranty claims can be done by any Ford dealer, but your factory one has run out. The warranty you have left is with that dealer you bought it off. You may have to take it back to Metro Ford to have it fixed. If you pay to get it fixed in Gundi, I don't like your chances of being reimbursed by metro Ford
  7. I doubt they will do anything about the fuel thud. Seems to be when the tank is about half full.
  8. Are you going to use coil springs, or air suspension?
  9. Mine are polyair bellows. #85111 With XR suspension - do not fit bottom plate
  10. Utes have a different exhaust to the sedan, and are longer. Does this affect the sound, compared to the sedan sound clip. Any-one have a ute sound clip?

    Bf To Fg

Went AUII > BFII XR6. Both NA 1 Tonners though, and they felt exactly the same to drive. Then to FG XR6T. Different as chalk and cheese. So much better to drive. And that's not taking the turbo power into account. It is by far, the best ute I have had.
  12. I have the black airbags in the back of my ute, and like the adjustment for the load of using them. If you have the ute loaded 100% of the time, with a fairly constant weight, then go for the ungraded leaf springs. In NSW, upgrading the springs still doesn't increase the GVM. That is still the same as the std. ute. In NSW again, the tyre has to have the load rating as well. TAS seems to have more sensible rules than NSW. But that's no suprise.
  13. S3XR6T You are right, "Mr Plod" will love that deep recess for the number plate.
