  1. Yeah that was my thought, however the lamps are fine as they do come on when I switch on the high beams. All the lamps then light up. It's only when I switch it to low beams they go out and only the parkers are on. Google recommends some WD-40 in the steering column light switch arm, so will give that a go this arvo. Any other recommendations?
  2. Hi, Thought I'd ask here. I have a BF XR6T and I just noticed that the low beam headlights aren't working. Funny thing is that they come on when I use the high beams. Checked the fuses and relays under the bonnet and all looks good. Even swapped the High and Low relays and nothing changes. I am at a loss as to what is wrong. Checked the wiring but don't understand how the low beam lamps come on when using high beams and not when using just low beams. When using low beams only the parking lights are on. Any help is appreciated. Cheers
  3. Just a quick question. I know it's probably in the manual but the wife is currently driving the car up the F3 and FREAKING out at the flashing symbol and a little 'alarm' its producing. Car seems to be functioning fine. Does anybody know what the flashin S means?
  4. I am also interested in a lease for the F6 and have found on the FPV website that states the price in the 'Config and Price' section EXCLUDES LCT and the threshold is as TBO240 said at $57009. So anything above that will be taxed at 25%. So what prices have ppl been able to get the Typhoon down to, drive-away?

    Fog Lights

I got booked for having them on in my crappy VY SS last year. The ticket read "Dazzling other drivers" or some such rambling.. Such rubbish. It was dusk coming off the freeway in Berowra and it cost me $87..... Since having the Turbo though I drive with them on constantly and havent been warned/booked and that's over a year now. Go figure..
  6. Hey all, Been a while since I have posted on here, but thought you may (or may not, as the case may be) like to know about a problem I experienced. After parking a perfectly normal XR6T for an hour and a half, I reversed it out of a park, when the steering was REALLY HEAVY. I thought I had a flat tyre and dreaded driving around with the steelos on. But...it turned out my PS pump had packed it in. Had to get it towed to the service boys and replaced. They also replaced the radiator due to an apparent leak. The car was in tip-top (13000kms) shape prior to this and I never noticed any problems, with steering OR temperature...... Very strange. But it gets better....I got it back the same day!!!!!!!! can you believe!!?!?!

    XR6T8U

Well I'll be damned..... It is spectacular! I knew by just looking at it that racing wasnt a good idea!!! I'll just have to pick on Monaro's and such
  9. I too was once an SS ambassador, owning 2 VY's. But as I have said before mny times, I cant see me going back to Expensive Daewoo after experiencing the XR6T!! I still think the suspension in the SS is a bit more solid, but the T is anything but boaty!!

    XR6T8U

I think I saw a pic of XR6T8U in the cruise section. I was driving beside you this morning crossing the Harbour Bridge.... I have to say, that's the sweetest blueprint I have ever seen!!! I was in the Silhouette T ogling that beast. Congrats on a great looking setup, I heard you give it a bit as we went past the toll gates. What exhaust system do you have, twin pipes look awesome! Also the alloys looked very sweet! I can see my black beast looking very similar soon!!
  11. Hey! Does anyone have any audio of this BOV for download?
  12. Hi, Does this happen when the car is clean? The static that shocks you from the car is usually created by the car moving through the air, and the body charging from the motion. Usually more prominent when the car is dirty or dusty. Otherwise, you could always attach one of those sexy static straps to the rear of your T..........could change the look completely though....
