  1. it really depends on your limits, from my experiance go larger first time
  2. yeah its got a process west plenum PWR intercooler which is way larger than standard.
  3. yeah its a big turbo the front housing is a larger 4 inch along with the intercooler inlet being 3 inch not like the standard which I think is 2.5 inch... its actually an 850hp wheel. I made 400rwkw with the standard GT3540 but it was ringing its neck , I had the option to go for the GT4088 which is a 1000hp flywheel turbo but it would have come on boost at 3800 rpm or so (im told)and yes the motor does have billet oil pump gears, ARP main and head studs, new valve stem seals, angle cut valves including re-seating and all the port inlet and exhaust have been shaved. So from my investigation the head should add some to the flow.
  4. He he nice photos of the datto with the turbs above bonnet height... In reponse to Senna T I origianlly had the crossover pipe from Process west ( all polished priping and crossover pipe for sale too if anyones interested) and it rubbed on the bonnet insulation. add heat copious amounts of heat>>> and it will possibly burn the paint on the bonnet.?? HArmonic balance from Who >?? Atomic ? Anyway any more ideas on the tuner.?? What is BTA/Autotech like ?
  5. Hi Guys sorry I took so long to reply been away. The internals are Je Forged and I beam rods, Exhaust manifold is GCG with 60mm external gate along with To4Z turbo. Valve springs upgraded. Standard box but 3000+ Clamping pressure single plate clutch with 10 puck plate... The fuel system surge tank is process west with 044 pump and will be upgraded to have 2 x 044 pumps. with 75lb injectors. Look at the height of the sucker in the photo, note it is not flush with the flange but bloody high.!!! Alos any recommendations for tuner.?? MRC Performance tuned the car to 400.5kw at the wheels prior but it leaned out and cracked piston 4 !!! 15k later see attached photo.! I have spoken to C& V also Autotech and BTA. I think this setup will make 500+ on race fuel.
  6. hi all, I am just building a 500kw ATW motor and have a new exhaust manifold , when we installed it on the bench the bloody thing looks so high the turbo housing is above the oil filler cap (4.0L Barra motor) any ideas. I hear that the GCG manifold (which I have)was discountinued due to uncontrollable boost because the runners were an irregular length and caused issues.?
