hey guys tomoro im swaping my xr boot (with spoiler) for a standard xt boot lid with no spoiler soo.. its all good just gota bolt it on and feed the wires through the boot skeleton BUT the guy im swapin boot lids with, I dont think his wiring has a lug that plugs into the spoiler light and brings on the spoiler break light. so am I right? what should I do?? I was thinkin mabey tap into his wiring and connect the lug that I dont need any more .. what do use rekon?? cheers

hey guys ive got 2 cobalt boost and and oil pressure gauges with the pod on the way should be here by the weekend im not too keen on doin it all myself however ive got a rough idea , would anyone in WA like to give us a hand provided you know what your doin of course id rather give the money to a forum member rather than any old auto sparky let me kno guys cheers nick

yeah I got all 3 bushes checked they wernt that bad. its abit of guess work though because if I change those bushes it could still make it a whole lot betta.. who knows. but its not a priority at the moment I guess if it gets worse then ill look into it more.

hmmm.. so I just had the car on the hoist at a very good suspension mob in WA they checked out the diff bushes and apart from some very very minor wear they seem to be fine. mite just have 2 drive it untill sumthing breaks!!

OK.. so ive gota a ba mk2 T with a 6 speed and there is various noises coming from the rear off the car. ford saying its normal......but I think there full of sh*t. neways wen im in any gear at low revs put my foot down and back off the drive line knocks back and forth a couple times , feels like the diff is very sloppy. and just today I was at a give way criuzed off let the clutch out a little bit too quick and... f@kin bang!! first time ive ever heard such a noise... bloody shat myself I thought some one hit me haha. also car has 37ks on it, and its been lowered nothing much else done

djGsta- yeah called back 2 days after and it was goneeee, devo about that xr6turbs- try good old duct tape.. cant even tell its there lol , yeah vinal stickers arnt a bad idea actually rather find a new boot though, yea that djr lip looks pretty good on your car mate but I think I wana go for the force 6 lip hope I can find one

yeah I know, ive been to wreckers found 1 in my colour gave him the option of a straight swap with cash and he didnt wana know me lol

I got afew quotes and its gona be around 350 to 400 so im trying my luck this way, u never know some one might prefer a spoiler

hey guys I have a merc silver boot lid (from a ba mk2)with a spolier and I would much prefer one WITHOUT a spoiler would any one wana do a swap (in WA) or if you know a mate that would want 2.. and ofcourse I can put in some extra cash pleeeease let me kno im tired of having spoiler holes!!!! cheers

hi guys im looking into getting a set of fpv wheels 19'' but they only have them in +35 offset would these rims be ok on a BA?, because I thought that the ba have a +36 offset, on the advert they specify to be fitted for an AU falcon but I think they mite fit on ba??

how often do you rekon change it??

on a ba or bf? wat about valve springs?

was looking at putting a f6 cooler on my ba T with a custom tune (from XFT), injectors and f6 CAI wat would the car expect on the dyno? anyone got a silmilar set up? cheers

ive got the exact same problem mate (bamk2 6 spd) 36k, I had mine on the hoist the other day found no major issues, a very good diff mech told me its most likely to be a number of small thing that make up this noise throughout the whole drive line including gearbox (could have slight wear), but if it helps ever since I lowered my car more I think the noise had slightly picked up so could be CV joints and theres kno real way of knowing unless u pull it 2 bits im told so yeah.. let me know wat u found dude, because I mite have to do somthing bout mine aswell cheers nick

was at the drags afew nights ago my mate ran a 13.9 (which he rekons was tops!) in his stock ve ss sedan manual which was pretty consistant over 4 runs and I ran a 14.3 in my stock manual BA T 6 speed manual and I probably could of shave abit off that time, so if u consider a auto you would probably cut that down to high 13s.and with 260rwkw pfttt your mate would have no chance.

so can u still buy any old tuner that has been used but as long as its flash back to factory yeh? also wat do uz rekon bout tuning a ba xr6t manual with the stock clutch (35 k), nothing extreme just a custom tune with injectors for the time being
