Why is it the sedans get a metal fuel cover and ute's get a plastic one that is ill fitting? so gay Also a fuel cap that is non lockable? in harsh economic times..Tanks will be sucked dry.I emailed ford and got a lame response.. Think I design and fit a metal cover....Poor form indeed.

That was spectacular..Never had so much fun..Despite roadblockers..We got in so many great runs.I could not stop laughing on our last run down the tight twisty road when cars came the other way. What a great workout it was Karl and Luke: I lost u guys after we got on the highway..But then thru much effort by my right foot..I caught up and was like only 3-4 cars behind..Then it said accident on Gateway so..I went down gympie road and you both must've gone the other way I had to call in Byrnt Ford and they had two Turbo utes in stock...Octane and Black..Lucky to find one turbo ute in stock at any dealer it seems...and identical sedan like mine also. Thanks Jamie for organising such a great cruise.Massif Props!

Been following this thread with great interest and now I am finally registered.I can write on here Ordered my Octane ute 2 days before Xmas It arrived on 18th Feb and was ready for pick up on the 27th...The Hardlid was on back order..which I accepted..But then it came with stock XR6 wheels..My heart sank when I saw it. I Ordered it with 5 spokes but the dealer never wrote the option down..After many arguments.They made me cough up $1000 more which I was very angry about..I wanted to pay $550..which would be the rest of the XR sports pack. As it turned out..I refused to take the car.And the Hardlid turned up and was fitted.Less said about the wheel saga..Still angry about it. Ordered with technology pack.Love the bluetooth phone option...Need to buy an Ipod. Leather interior. HardLid 6sp Manual Prestige Audio Did not want the 19's..so I saw no need for the Lux pack..though I wish I had the 7 inch colour screen.Maybe on the next one..Haha! So hard to choose btw octane and dash..But all the colours look so great in FG series First Impressions: Trying to run it in and be nice is so hard.Was suggested I keep it under 3000rpm for 1st 3000kms..But that is impossible.I keeping it to 4000rpm and being as nice as I can. Manual seems very notchy.But also maybe the way I drive it..Can sound clunky or very smooth. First cruise last week and man it has some legs in 6th gear..Overall I love it..As does everyone that I have showed it to..Or been for a drive in it I just want those brembo's Asap before any engine mods.

Awesome! The Registration finally works..Only been trying since December last year.Seems the forums do not like web based email addresses. After months of reading all of your posts.I finally get to join in. I picked up my Octane FG ute last wednesday.Has 900k's on it now. Look forward to coming to this cruise tomorrow.Was unsure if I should come without registering on here. But now at the 11th hour..I can lock it in :D Martin
