Number plate game over now? I wonder if anyone has ever taken an XR6 over to England..Can u imagine how much fun u could have(when there is no traffic congestion) on the motorways and B roads.. I am sure though..That the current model is not Euro IV compliant? Need to wait till the update..Because that one defn is.. Is just a dream..as sure it would cost u $20k to take it over..I was all set to go England..Then recession hit..So I deferred..and got the XR as consolation prize..Still want to go over this year if possible..Just store the car and leave.. People love Fords in England..Imagine if they saw one of ours on the road.Rear wheel drive cars are rare for the masses over there.

I had a lovely time out Eagle Farm and Pinkenba on Saturday...It's like a ghost town on weekends...So many long straight roads that just never seem to end... So much fun..Getting the hang of this Launch Control now.

So I was having a play tonight..Turned traction control off...and then the ICC decided it would turn off completely and only come back on if pressed one of the buttons..but then would go off in 20 seconds again.. Reset factory defaults when I came home...hopefully would have fixed it. Using Launch control..the clutch stayed on the floor the whole time thru changing gears..and then seemed to lose 50% of it feel...Have seen others post this on threads too...Off to search for them now.. Maybe should have got an Auto after all...hmmm...ok..Jokes over

Hello Tasmania XR6T members.. I was wondering if you could tell me what the economy is like in Tasmania with the recession atm..I been wanting to move Tasmania for a while now. Over living in QLD...So fkn hot...Yearn for cold temps and think your summer would be bliss compared to mine. I see rent is comparable in Hobart to Brisbane.Not sure where I want to live in your state..Obviously CBD area would have the most avail..I am a Carpenter btw...Any info would be very much appreciated via PM. Factory must be pushing stock out in to the dealers..Bryan Byrt Ford last week I visited..Had 5 F6's..With a Black Ute in the showroom that looked hot Sunshine Coast Ford today..Massive premises..Not much stock My interest was piqued.So had to go look at Byrne Ford at Kedron..Smaller premises than the above two...Must be 15-20 sedans of various models..and they have 8 utes! Never seen so many in one location of all colours The reason for my post is seeing the New Green and Purple in FG series...Purple looks great in sedan and ute variation..The green was not like I was expecting after viewing on here. Changes in the light..Would like to see it in sunlight.. Oh and Byrne Ford..I have never seen an F6 in there :/ Ace..is time to look at that upgrade now purple is here

Update: Took it in to Ford..Linkages all fallen apart inside..This without much use...Then told..will take all month to get parts..Not good enough..Told me would have an answer in 48 hours..4 days later..no call yet.. Useless if I cannot lock the lid..Free for all for all passers by.

The fuel sloshing is a constant with the windows up for me. I can't rid of the Harlid knocking noise..Is horrible...No more silent approach to the car.

AAMI only has one year though new for old replacement..Everyone else is 2 years. They were $750 for me RACQ I rang and said $1000.Ute delivered they said $1800..WTF..nothing changed NRMA was $1350....Now they have that gay ad on about they can beat anyone.. I went with Suncorp for $970.Worth the extra money over AAMI for the 2 year replacement

Well I never knew it did lock with the button..Always thought it was manually locked.. I can't work out why the noise just started or how to get rid of it.Is annoying..Betrays the fine piece of machinery that it is Before I start another semi useless thread.. When u come to a complete stop...U hear sloshing noise for a quite a while..I assume is fuel tank.Being so close to your ear. Where as in a sedan it would not be right?

When I press the button to lock the doors.Locking noise comes from the hardlid.Even though u have to lock it manually. Just started doing this last week Thoughts? Anyone else had this or know how to solve it?

As long as you got the hill climb all to yourselves? Broken wrist and my 14th week of work= income is lacking.Just could not find any spare dosh.It killed me so bad not coming. Checked weather forecast for today..Rain later in the day.Up at 5.30am...clear skies..Clear on the radar. Wanted to go do that Obi Obi hill climb part we did on the cruise in March.. Just as get to Yandina..It pours down.. Poured on Sunshine coast all day...Get home 4pm. City is totally dry FFS! Guess u will not be driving in the rain with a clutch like that Wilbaz and so much power on tap too.
