No one buying the new model I see? Sedan looks ok. Ute does not and now all the good colours have been deleted. Wish I was enticed to upgrade :(

As per display picture on this forum.. Correct me if I am wrong. But there was never one made? Just like never one in Breeze either before the colours were discontinued I got told that Octane was making a re-appearance with 2014 update..Which I will gladly buy..But they are not making F6's anymore.Correct?

Did this get fixed?

FG Mk II downgrade..Now they have rolled out into dealers..The front looks like a horse smiling...To think people use to complain about the Mk 1 grill set up.Now you can see them side by side.It makes the outgoing model look so good..The non recessed touchscreen I intensely dislike also. And every new wheel set Ford has brought out recently looks so cheap..How could they get it so wrong? Don't they do consumer feedback over a large group before deciding on going ahead with full production? Not forgetting to mention they have deleted all the bright colours in the range..I do like how it other manufacturers are jumping on the Orange car band wagon now..

Looking through FPV build your own catalogue and see they have killed the bright green colour off? Thought that colour popular..What with killing Octane..Then bringing out that awful Sunburst..They have seriously regressed...Like Breeze got killed off too...Though was never offered in FPV range...Looks like if I want to upgrade..I have to buy 2nd hand...Hope they release one or two new colours this year...Mystic seems to be a failure too.

I want one of these satisfaction surveys then Trent!..Took it back yesterday.As when it rained last Wednesday.Water poured through the speaker like hole in front of the interior lights.I took it straight there to show them. Took out headlining and fixed the radio finally at the same time..Putting new aerial wiring in..18 months later it finally works!..Apart from the $90 I-pod plug fee...They done everything right by me this time.Still not going to let them service it though.

42k with a Lux pack? More like near 47k....Mine was 44,500 without that....Wish I got the colour ICC screen...But did not want the 19" wheels..or who wants dual zone aircon in a ute.

News update from my last post: Left car at Dealer for 4 days...They could not find the leak through the aerial..But I got a new gearknob and boot surround.. I left it there for 4 days so they could pull the dash out and fix the radio..They told me it now works...Still no A.M stations and 4zzzfm still crackles...Fail.. On the plus side: I complained again about the 2 front discs with ridges in them since last July and the poor maching atempt they tried to palm off on me..Told I would have to pay for the discs..Then find 2 new ones put on discreetly for me today :D Gas strut fixed on hardlid..That was very painful every time u opened it,had to prop it up. I-pod adapter fell to bits over last 2 weeks..Not covered by warranty..Had to pay $90 for new part&fitted for free..I will be more careful with it from now on....Apart from the radio..I was impressed with service..But I would not let them service it again...Now off for 30,000km service and it's looking almost like new. That Beechmont cruise looks like a great loop

Why is fuel cheaper in every other state apart from Tasmania? Is there some reason Queensland residents have to grab there ankles for much longer? Doing this search regularly for last 3 weeks and we are always dearest? What gives?

Stink: It's 2009 model...Booked it in for 2 days next week with dealer to get all these issues solved. Found a tyre in Crows Nest..Will have it next week! Asked tirerack..Why it going to cost me so much postage just for one tyre.Told it costs alot for the 1st item and then progressively cheaper for each item after that. It's good to get out of Corrolla hire car...Can't go around corners in 4th gear..And no way can you pull out on anyone..Such pain! And it does the 1750 revs in 6th gear at 60km/h as does mine at 110km/hr in 6th.. Went to that place at Albion that gets rid of gutter rash on wheels..and they have gone :( Tyrepower says..The place down the coast bought them out..Such pain to get them done down there now. Forums come to life! I want to go do that Kyogle cruise again.Those twisty's brought a huge smile to everyone's face.

There was a Ute in Breeze with the number plates eXquisite parked in Kangaroo Point.Think the guy was working on The Point Hotel...Looked very tuff with exposed intercooler and nice wheels..I should have stopped and told him to join the forums...

Word of warning: That 80km/hr strip through roadwords at Springwood/Daisy Hill on the freeway..Set cruise control and do no deviate...Friend got done last year there because they made the 80km zone bigger..So I always slowed down ever since.. It such a long slow strip that tonight on the return...Got to Ikea..cars coming up all around me..No real roadworks on that part..So accelerate up...Car behind me still on my ass...Then flashing lights came on..Thought it was for me..but the guy behind me took one for the team..As everyone around me was speeding...Nearly turned into a disatrous Australia Day... The b**tards were also getting everyone coming down the Story Bridge this morning..Could not believe they would do this on Australia Day...However it is a favourite spot of late to get you there.

Tyres arrived today! Very happy.And they are German made..Was worried after that post about chinese copies. They would have been here exactly 7 days after ordering..Had it not been for floods in New South Wales-Grafton..Meaning they got stuck down there..Followed by Brisbane's flooding and all deliveres cancelled last week. So that's $250 a tyre I paid.Compared to an average of $465 quoted here...Not there was any stock available anyway..$22 a wheel to fit tomorrow Does anyone recommend filling with nitrogen?

Yes all taken care of..With the dollar being so good...$185 each 245/40/18's+$225 postage..Total $965USD.Woah the exchange rate changed in 1 hour..Xe,com..said $947 last night..$953 before I left home..and Suncorp charged me $969...yet I check now and it says $958...Something not right there..Feel like I been bent over and digitally penetrated...haha Anyway.With $30 for sending the money(note just need security token and I could have done it from my own computer)= $1000....Fingers crossed they be here by Friday

Brilliant thread..I have been to all tyre shops today for quotes on Goodyear Eagle F1's..$420-$500 was the given prices...When you go on tire rack website..I cannot get past the zip code thing to process order..I guess you have to email them to get shipping then?

Any recommendations on wear to get Window tinting done? Was going to use a mobile service but unsure now.. Also want to get rid of exhaust tips..As hate them so much...Wondering whether to buy a 2nd hand system or just get it modified? Will go to Elite for next service too...Never again to a Ford dealership.. Pondering whether to trade in for an Ego Ute next year....Or find a 2nd hand Octane F6...as seriously needs those black cuts outs to set this colour off.

Ha! Yes Trent...I pulled the fuses out last night and they were fine...Went to start this morning and it's back to normal..How very odd...I was doing a budget overnight of how much this was going to cost me.
