  1. Not sure about the details on it sorry mate. Give Chris at rapids a bell and he'll give you the run down. I think it's just a generic one with 200cpsi. Has 3 inch inlets/outlets so should mate up with the stock system alright.
  2. hey mate I just bought a 5 inch cat from chris at rapid systems for $280. Planning to put it into the stock system at the end of the month. Ill let you know how it fairs.
  3. I think it's about 580nm@rw with 263rwkw. Cant remember exactly but I know it's just under 600nm. Should get a bit more out of it when I get the cat and cooler done at the end of the month.
  4. Cheers for all the info guys. I spoke to Chris at Rapidsystems and have ordered a V1.0 intercooler and a 5inch hi flow cat from him. Can't wait to see the results after a tune!! Still tossing up getting a fuel pump, just gotta scrap together the $$$. Anyone know if you need a tune after installing a fuel pump and surge tank set up?
  5. Wow I didnt really think just to put a new hi flow cat in. Seems it might just be the way to go, combined with a new intercooler and fuel pump that is. I'll guess I'll have to price up a few items. Would a 3.5 inch hi flow cat do the job? Any hints on brands to go with for the cat?
  6. hmm..decisions decisions. This will probably be that last set of mods I do is all. So wont be upgrading to a plenum kit later. I dont think im gonna chase huge power figures as 300rwkw (give or take) is more than enough to cork an HSV owners pie hole on the street . Not to mention most other cars on the street. Car is a daily driver so I dont want things to start to break or wear prematurely (tyres exempt) with the power im putting through. Great feed back though guys. Kinda new to the scene so keep the tips coming in!!
  7. Cheers mate. I wasn't having any traction problems on the day though. Running dunlop sports maxx on the stock 17's so they are alright street tyres I guess. Unforunately my budget is limited as I will need a tune on top of the works and am about to be out of a job with our mine getting shut down . So it may be the more pocket friendly exhaust and cooler set up by the sound of it.
  8. I have been considering the x force system. what sort of cat do they use? Im assuming its a 3.5inch system with a 4 inch dump? Why the fuel pump before the intercooler?
  9. Hi all I am currently running 263rwkw on my BF xr6t auto. It has had a custom tune, typhoon intake and injectors thanks to XFT. However I ran a very frustrating 13.034 at the strip with a 2.3 60ft . I know the car would crack the 12's with say a better launch on a colder night, but I want consistent 12's. Say I have a budget of 3k fully installed and am chasing a figure of 300rwkw. What mods do ya'll recommend to get me there? P.s. This post is no way an insult to XFT. Their work was fantastic and will be using them again for the next instalment of 'go fast' bits.
  10. Hi Guys, Im a newbie to the site. I have a 2006 lightning strike BF xr6t. Just had it tuned by XFT and the injectors done so running 263.1 rwkw. Next step is intercooler and exhaust. This forum seems like a really good information exchange server. I'm still learning so sorry if I ask any stupid question.
