  1. Started to prep the ba block for removal just wanted to show you's what I found when I removed the top half of the inlet manifold from having so much blow bye from 3 & 6 this long block is long overdue for a rebuild Lots of oil old oil imagine it been there for awhile

Hey dude, if the oil is worrying you a catch can is a great idea and legal too If you haven't already get a aftermarket turbo oil feed line with filter (I use a EARLS line&filter) the stock filters are notorious for starving the turbo of oil and blocking up as for oil I run castrol edge 10/60 I find that flows well to the turbo. turbo oil feed line and catch can have great writes up on this forum, the stock turbo oil feed line ended up costing me a turbo so I would start there good luck mate. (turbo rebuild should only be 900 unless your unless your doing the port & flapper mod and upgrading the wastegate)

Hello people can't find a direct answer anywhere on the forum the only person that has done a similar fit out has been banned I am fitting a BF long motor to my BA as the pistons and farked and welch's gave way the problem I have is the BF has Two knock sensors and the BA has only one what do I do about this is it as simple as not plugging it up or will this have devastating results Please help it kept me up all night

  9. So anyone what do I do about the 2nd knock sensor plug ???? do I just leave it and plug the BA loom into the first one someone please help same thing as *Beep* Bayswater Auto built 4spd swapping in a BF long 09/2007 ???

I think your on the right track but valve springs failing and pushing valves open will cause what you describing as well as spark plugs that aren't gapped right for the tune but I imagine that if the car has basic mods they have been done I'd say you tuner would be a good start as the possibility's are endless until you have it on dyno with the SCT plugged in good luck fella sorry I couldn't help you with it

Just trying to understand the real difference between vortex 98 and the P100 and E85 I have never seen E85 for sale or being used and I've read allot of interesting stuff on here surrounding the results of running E85 thanks for your help people now to find the injected LPG thread and pick up a little more knowledge
  20. Ratter you understood the question I asked and I understand you answer regarding the 100 octane being achieved with being a ethanol dilution/additive which ever applies in this case
