Bayswater automatics absolutely no bullsh*t best 4 spd rebuilders around went thru 6 boxes then got Bayswater to do one rebuild and couldn't be happier Ivan put me on to him I have a thread outlining the problems I had and the ultimate solution wasn't that expensive either compared to some of the other price's I paid

MAA are paying for the PR coppers to follow that around pretty good of em lol don't take it the wrong way mate like I said great novelty just my opinion
-
Good to see the police budget being correctly spent ....... I think >>>>>>>>> PR improvement I seriously doubt, I think its safe to say anyone with a real interest in vehicles and/or Motorsport has a healthy respect for the police and the job there doing weather C.I.D or T.O.G I'm sure the money would have been better spent adjusting the attitude of youth towards police and the few people I know in the force would agree with that Pretty good novelty but

Ey bud the fuel line has two qWick connectors down on the passenger chassis rail just before it goes up towards the engine bay be sure to pull your fuel relay and run it dry before you the qwick connectors off it is possible to thread the Pcv line through to the manifold it's a *beep* but can be done

I think its all a farce seriously doubt the falcon type sedan range would be discontinued maybe a name change slight body changes towards the less bulky european type sedans seriously doubt we will see a mustang in the V8 supercars replacing a aussie performance sedan... think about it I'm sure they will release a sedan with a 4&6 and turbo & 8 in performance range

For anyone doing the swap Cheers Ralph didn't use the second knock sensor and haven't had a issue Alternator brackets are different if you use the BA alternator you will have to switch over the rear bracket and run the shorter BA acc belt everything else was fine. Two funny things but the BA flywheel teeth is bolted and flanged where BF flywheel is strip welded & fasteners and fitting's on the BA motor have a zinc/alloy finish to them and BF a chrome/alloy finish
-
BA to BF 07 long motor change over today in a single car garage on stands + two jacks + engine crane (cash is tight patience is short) wasn't all that bad of a job to be honest refitting the new block took awhile with allot of jacking and packing and did have to switch over the rear alternator mount as BF's mount is wider and dose not fit to the BA alternator so this will mean I will have to run the shorter BA acc belt as well

Headsex Tuned Ba Ute Goes 10.44@129
KeddyXR6T replied to xr6t_ute's topic in Drag and Circuit Racing
You still using the ute as your daily still cause ........ That would blow my mind at this point I get the atomic blocks hold together well but If that's getting you around and getting times like that amazing stuff -
Have a read of a few topic's on here depending on what you want out of it if you looking at modding the stay away from the A's I got one and in short 4 spd had to be built spent money on the motor and it passed boost thru the pistons anyway ended up fitting a BF motor in it so having a nice BA will cost you more then just getting the BF with the stronger motor I have always made it rule of thumb not to buy a car I have to already fix

Had a great day been looking forward to heading out tonight with a girl I've been hitting on for a good 2 weeks my wingman calls and he has fallen victim to a sucubus so he's not coming then he informs me that he that a girl who hate's me is coming I don't mind a challenge but this other girl really hate's me (Left her at crown an took a random home) I bet she has been bitching about me the whole time they have been together COCK BLOCKED BEFORE I EVEN GET THERE

^^Can I get one that has "With a broomstick" on it as well^^ Listen the best way to find out who's right and deserves the morale ground is......... Run a pipe from the end of your exhaust into the rear passenger side window (AG pipe works fine $4/meter from bunnings) do up the rest of your window's start it up and count to 1000 Let me know the results between the one with a cat and the one without

KeddyXR6T replied to KeddyXR6T's topic in Electrics Workshop
Yeah wasn't on the net yesterday picked it up today and was told exactly that so at this rate its going to be a pretty quite Christmas unless by some miracle the interest rate drop's -

Mate, come on I have organised the marking paint and the measuring wheel if we can get some one with one of them or a stop watch bang where in business. If there is one thing calder raceway has taught us all its that you don't need to maintain your track or amenities there has to be little to no organisation of the drags, all you have to do is charge people for coming and having maybe (if you are mad lucky) 3 runs (reality is if you get a second run its a good night) TRUTH BE TOLD I'm actually pretty devastated that its going, handy thing to have 20mins down the road especially when the only other real option now is heathcote oh well we should have told the government it was a Controlled Safe Shooting Facility for addicts they would have funded the thing to stay open
