I took it for tune after losing a fair bit of power and oil passing thru the tube that gose between the rocket cover and intake mainfold I think its called the pcm valve I was told im losing boost through the pistons I need a rebuild demostrated to me by when boosting on the dyno the oil dipstick lifted

So what dose it mean when im losing oil throgh there and make a big white cloud when I start it up after a thrash

I have around $5000 for this its starting to sound like this may not be enough for this option I dont have the time or a shed to do the work myself

Yeah ive been reading the threads it look like the f6 short from bayford would be the wiser choice ive worked the 4spd but any ideas how she would hold against the fg internals

RBJet (wrote a VLT off before the XR ;D) Im In the West but theres not much out here I have normally taken it to BLUEPOWER in cambellfield but id be in for a long wait as he is busy as ATM and didnt really seem intrested in the work PAZZONegger I thought about this option but I wonder how it would go just use the short block from the FG and Bolt the BA stuff to it anyone aware of any posts on this kind of thing ?

I have a BA 04 XR6T auto pushing 300rwkw which of course is now passing boost through the pistons im wondering with rebiulding it how far I should go to push 300 to 350 rwkw daily im aware the BA motors are notoriously weak so how far from a stock rebuild shoud I go and anyone know a trustworthy rebuilder in Melbourne ?

Yep the fpv gauges and pod are no good on there own you need the sender which I could never find so sold em and got cobolts

This is what has killed a once very passionate car scene in melbourne I don't know anyone that has tipped thousands of dollars into a car to thrash around the streets all spoiled by a few uneducated drives who are usually young and by the looks of things it will get worse before it gets better

Friday night alcoholic impulse buys yes you have to love them damn ebay so easy to use even when blind and now I've ended up with a monza yes itz heart breaking but here's the dealo blown my turbo so getting "Blue Power Racing" to do the replacement turbo (with wastegate an flapper) and a retune is it worth chucking the monza on me and painted items dont get along so id probley get them to do it worth the install cash or maybe another case of one to many stubbie'z tonight can anyone let me know, Cheers Keddy

If the car was full electricly dead even immoboliser wasnt working It was Body Control Module Fault for sure but whats causeing it is anyones guess so they would be pushing sh*t up a hill to find a reason to blame a mod

Hey guys Ive just got a turbo and top end rebuild done (was pricey indeed) I have just got $1100 back from tax man and I wondering what this money would be best spent on exhaust or better induction (cooler and pipes) ? the Xr only has a ss cold air intake and a herrod stg 2 flash PLEASE give me some advice I seem to get a different story from everyone. I Came across From a VR Stateman 5lt stroked to 355 the XR is a Way lighter unit but for some reason feels as heavy on the cornerz as the stateo did

Truely painful experience just recently had the same thing found the wheel in the cat and yes about 2 weeks before I had the pipe blow off so I was just intrested to see how removing the oil screen went for you a success or have you found another way around this problem ????
