Northern diffs rebuilt it last got 40,000kms out of it before that a joint called BBE Automatics where doing it they are the f*cking worst they rebulit the thing 4 times under warranty before I told them to get f*cked one box didnt even last a day or a skid pathetic liars is all ill say about BBE Umm 80-100km skids are my thing I give it a hard time but f*ck me 10.83 headsex tuned beast is that the 4spd if so im starting to think I need to go where you have been

I used 3/8 fuel line

and futher more I skate second far more then third but going from second to third seems to be where the fail is if it was the torque from the boost I imagine it would happend from 1st to 2nd and it would go into limp mode neither which happen

its not to hard on the boost the tuner had plenty of experience he was aware of the box problems so I imagine that was taken into account I mean alittle blow bye and he was keen to turn her down so hoping that maybe its a common fault and if anyone has found a option other the a rebuild or c4 I mean its a daily drive and 300 is plenty for me to give it to most of the commodores in my area I dont really want to stray from the btr but if in 25,000km im rebiulding again theres no point

Hey I have Ba xr6 turbo sedan 04 model minor mods 300rwkw its a daily driver so today I go to hit the highway, on the on ramp try to select 3rd and she just revved, so I've got 1st 2nd and that's it, this has happened 4 times before and the rebuild before that was the problem the stock auto cooler breaking running fluid through the box. Ive had the converter done on the last rebuild being told that was the issue now again I face the same problem again anyone eles with anything like this surely the BTR isn't that unreliable

Rage I read this a few weeks ago and about 30 mins ago I lost 3rd and 4th

Mate sounds to me like the car is haunted I'm no professional but, for a small cash fee of $1000 I can try and banish the spirit. No guarantee's anything will happen but, I will be able to give you one hell of a story of why the problem is still there as I learned the technique off a ford top tech bullsh*tter at a certain dealership. alternator noise through audio devices will happen when they share the same earth, sometimes unavoidable with loom type wiring

Okay so fitted the new PCV Valve and with the engine breather tube I ended up fitting a catch can I used a 9mm fuel hose and this is important a VN 5ltr Heater hose bypass made by mackay hose on the top which was effectively on a 90 degree bend and then slica'd the 9mm hose in one side of that which was already a tight fit now on the stock crossover its a threaded fitting with a hose latch I cut a 35mm section of of the original breather hose which the 9mm pipe slide tightly over so silca'd that aswell clipped it into the hose latch fitting and beaut nice and neat looking as not to attract any attention from the fuzz ill post a few pic's when I get home End result the dipstick hasn't jumped out yet but I haven't really given it a thrash ill have the opportunity on the way home so let you all know thanks for the help please oh please don't be piston problems (im the hopeful sort)

had this problem with my ba 4spd was the valve springs retarding threw in some nizpros and it was fine

I get the feeling I missed something good there and that takes the west to 3 fords

My only worry is the throttle body and if it will reach or if I have to get some sort of adapter to make it happen and my other concern is will it push the af ratio out or will I be fine once fitted to 'Drive" to my tuners

So to Clarify for "arronm" and "hens" yep you got me clearly I was hammered at the time of post this probable happened because my mrs was sick of hearing it and I thought it was fantastic and had to tell someone yes you all have me pulling a benny red handed the story went as I was walking home drunk from my mates I seen a kid out front my house, some kid has been using a marker on my fence, so instanly when I seen a kid standing on the corner in my head at that time guilty he was the one so when I walked past him ive grabbed the side of his jumper and he's pulled away I gave about a three step chase and given up go inside an gone to bed. Half hour later the police have knocked on the door looking for a drunk man harassing kids in the street which happend to be me still drunk, once the mrs had assured them I was going nowhere they left it be so then I told the mrs the story then rang my mate to let him know then got on here and that is what ive ended up with .............. Is rocket science part of your job or just a hobby? pretty upset about the whole thing they couldn't have cared less about the criminal damages side of things which was all I worried about
