Cheers I have one of the early PW2 plenum kits its been awhile since I've had the bar off and a good look maybe theres a reducer in there as the early pw2 cooler's where a little smaller ill have to have a look sure the reducer was on the hot side but
Took me 30 mins to fit a PWR transcooler kit that is specific for the xr6s that comes with the barbs and hose's and clips to fix in to the radiator just take the front bar off
May have cooked the trans fluid id dump the fluid and replace it really needs to be done on a hoist as the car needs to be level to Read the fluid level
You will be able to tell you have a aftermarket transcooler by looking at the trans lines on the drivers side of the radiator there silver if there hooked into the radiator it's a stock coil and I have seen the revised coil leak aswell Aswell as that was it new factory coils you put in because aftermarket coils are notoriously bad
Yeah I had seen the fpv shorts going for 2700 brand new get a good set of springs and retainers and the bf cams are better seems to be the yard stick for b series heads its what I've used in my ba block but that being said I've heard KPM cams in a XR6T and it was fierce with a 3inch zorst
If DTM have rebuilt it I'm sure it will have a aftermarket trans cooler as the stock trans coolers are well known to crack and leak water into the trans fluid destroying the box I have heard of the ECU fault your describing but it was the PCM if I remember correctly it happened in 3rd under load and you will have s3 s4 failure give DTM a call there pretty good blokes even if it's going to cost you it will be better then starting again with someone and again I would go see dynomite if there closer dion has heaps of experience with the 4spd's
There's water in your box mate I'm inclined to think stock g/box cooler or aftermarket anyway if you want get the BA workshop manual on Google go thru the pin point tests will have all the correct volts you should be reading for normal operation on the 4spd looms and solenoids have you gone past dions if you haven't you should And 100% DTM is in Geelong
Spool imports rebuild kit with CP pistons I've used very happy just waiting until I get my brembo's on and pick a tuner and ill post some results plenty of people have used them on here
All this talking get the broom handle and go for your life son, if your unhappy with the results get a bolt in cat no brainer wouldn't worrie cause 99.9% of the time the EPA will get you for something anyway lol the trick is to have some nails thru the handle don't breathe the dust in theres a wife's tale its carcinogenic
legally there little help but for insurance purpose's they work a treat have a GPS enabled one unsure of the brand in the work vehicle this was in the case of damage that occurred while it was stationary.
265s on the rear +35 20X9.5 front 225 20x8.5 slightly lower then what you have had to roll the front guards rears were okay but rolled them too edit*** just seen was a fg never mind
Rimskins require a flat surface for the adhesive to work as it is meant to, when they first came out put a set on a mates senator sig 19's and a set on my 17inch stockies 2 weeks later mine had come off the stockies and two years later they are still stuck on my mates signature wheels they have faded a fair bit prep'd them exactly the same only difference was the surface of the stockies is slightly curved the sigs are dead flat we used Rimskins Branded 9mm Reds As for the Lenso D1R I wanted a set for my BA sedan but there isn't a 8/9.5 staggered sets available only a 10(too big to go under the BA) or a 9(Not enough lip) but I found these wheels 'MC Racing" and they're pretty much the same style big lip so just a option for the B series People out there
