Hey guys I have a XL BF Ford Falcon one-tonner and I'm looking at getting some new wheels for it. I went to my local wheel and tyre shop and they told me that because it was a one tonner, I could not get anything for it over 16" legally. I'm wondering, is this to do with the wheels load rating, or with the tyre load rating? The tyres on it now are 215/60R16C 103/101T which is exactly what the tyre placard says. If I can get tyres on 17" rims that are 103/101T or better, are they legal or is it also about the rim? tl;dr I want 17" rims on my one-tonner, how do I do it?
