  1. Hey guys I'm interested in getting a maroon BF front bar resprayed in white and wondering if anybody has any recommendations for a particular painter in Brisbane? Also any ballpark figures on the cost? Thanks
  2. Tyres are near new, still heaps of tread. Ive been driving it really carefully lately and with premium fuel and it's down to 15.7/100km, this still isn't satisfying considering everybody else seems to be getting this kind of economy with V8's. I think it's time to book it into Ford to see what's going on. Any idea's on what to say to them?
  3. Hey update: Ive started using BP Ultimate and reset my fuel consumption computer and have been driving like a grandma constantly and the consumption is at 16.8-17.2L/100km BP Ultimate is no help.
  4. Nothing at all. It's got a heavy duty steel tray. Sides of the tray are off so it's just a flatbed. Got nothing on it, not even a toolbox.
  5. Anybody else have any ideas? Ive reset my fuel consumption and have been driving reasonably conservatively and still maintain a 16.5L/100km reading. I'm using regular unleaded fuel, not e10. Somebody please help!
  6. Hey I was reading a fuel consumption thread earlier and everyone was saying they were getting, at the most, 14-15L/100 on there N/A falcons. I'm driving a BF 1-tonner and I drive it hard sometimes like when I need to put ricers in there place, but I'm no lunatic. I'm happy when my consumption goes down to 14L/100. Right now it's up around 17-18L/100 and I've been a granny lately. Most it has been up to was 20L/100. Highway drives I get down to about 10-11L/100. Why is my falcon using more then everyone elses :( I even read somewhere this guy who had a blown XR8 who was getting something like 13L/100 city driving! Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
  7. Hey guys I have a XL BF Ford Falcon one-tonner and I'm looking at getting some new wheels for it. I went to my local wheel and tyre shop and they told me that because it was a one tonner, I could not get anything for it over 16" legally. I'm wondering, is this to do with the wheels load rating, or with the tyre load rating? The tyres on it now are 215/60R16C 103/101T which is exactly what the tyre placard says. If I can get tyres on 17" rims that are 103/101T or better, are they legal or is it also about the rim? tl;dr I want 17" rims on my one-tonner, how do I do it?
