If I am to upgrade to E85 which will need approximately 30% more fuel at WOF, then this craddle which is 30% bigger maybe the go instead of a surge tank? Might give it a shot with the bigger pump

Just for a test, will the tab go up without the sleave in place as that doesnt work either

Im replacing my leaking sleeve on my ZF. Pulled the pan, dropped the oil and pulled the white locking tab down and removed the sleeve, quite easy. Problem is I cannot get the locking tab back up. I've tried everything. I've tried it with the sleeve in or out but the locking tab doesnt want to budge and move up. It appears its locked out or maybe I pulled it to far down. Any suggestions?

Nothing has let go, just an oil leak plus I had a service done about a year ago

Has anyone ever replaced the seal in the wiring loom for the ZF, I get a huge leak after about 1 week of sitting there.

Idiot mate of mine put E85 in his modded SS as it was cheap and had to drain the tank as it was running like crap. I only could imagine how many people have also done this as its cheap

I was cleaning out my throttle body and noticed the manifold gasket between the top and bottom sections was hanging way over the manifold runners. Probably about 5-7mm Anyone else noticed this? Would it be worthwhile pulling it apart and cutting it?

Yep I get it too, tuned and untuned ZF, speed pros and stock bushes, always done it

How you finding the Fuel Economy using E85 being a daily?

I checked the mats and at full throttle the mat is at least 1 inch lower than the pedal. I'll keep an eye on it just to make sure.

Was driving on the freeway last night and gave it a bit in 3rd. Next minute throttle became stuck open so I immediately hit the brakes but realised this is not going to stop me quickly as its power v's brakes and the brakes are going to eventually die. So I thought I could I could go down gears if it was in desperate need so I just hit the throttle and it went back to normal. Was scarey though for a split second and I could get me in real trouble if I was in the wrong spot. So where do I start looking? Carpet mats are a long way from the throttle so its not that, so maybe its the throttle body somewhere?

I made 304rwkw at 13psi with just a hi flow cat as well. I then fitted 3.5 dump to the hi flow cat with no over mods. Got a re-tune done and it made 314rwkw at 15psi. The peak power only increased 10rwkw which doesnt sound much but it picked up 40rwkw in the middle which makes so much difference. The car now feels so much faster when it comes on boost. I say go for it. Still running stock valve springs.

No way is Phelps only 183cm which is 6'0 in the old book. Done a quick check and he is 193cm(6'4) 88kg , size 14 feet and a wingspan of 200cm which makes him so fast

E85 today on the westgate at 95.9 cents.

I have a ZF tune and I am hating it. Been back about 4 times and still hardly any difference. Sounds like a hit miss thing, some people like it and others not. The 1-2 light throttle bang is so annoying driving in traffic every day.
