  1. This link should be made sticky http://www.infrastru...n_2011%20v3.pdf In short, what has already been mentioned about rolling diameter is true. Regarding width, it is 1.3x the widest TYRE offered by the manafacturer for the model, so for the Falcons it is 245x1.3 = 318.5 or 315. The widest rim that is listed for a 315 is 12.5".
  2. Yeh I am after the bolt size of what attaches the caliper to the mounting bracket, not the bracket to the car. The bolts that bolth through the caliper.
  3. Wait...you ran the stop sign or someone else did? Also Phil, I know you probably have a sh*tload on your plate now, but do you rekon you could do us a favour? I need to know what the bolt size and pitch is on the rear Brembo bolts that mount the caliper to the mounting brackets.
  4. Alright, before I submit the final files to have these brackets made, I need to find out what the Caliper bolts size and pitch is? I have a feeling I need the mounting holes that attach the bracket to the caliper need to be drilled in M14x2, but would rather be 100% than pretty sure. Any help will be much appreciated!
  5. The rears will stick out a lot, fronts will be fine.
  6. Big thanks to Ralph Wiggum! Have a CAD drawing made, just a draft at this stage, and will hopefully have 2 made soon to see how good the measurements I took were. If anyone is interested in the file just PM me you email and I will send it over.
  7. You can get some 19" Meisters from the US for $3999 inc postage, unsure of customs fees though. http://www.ebay.com/...ssories&vxp=mtr And since you have a ute you probably could go 19x9 up front and 19x11 in the rear. They are also custom made, so can chooce offset, which disks you want and colour.
  8. 19x8 +35 will sit like a stock wheel.
  9. Yeh, I plan on having 3d models and measurements avail. for the rear 4 pot Brembos, not really worth it for the fronts as those kits are relatively cheap and quite easy to find. The rear 4 pots are a PITA thogh!
  10. PM sent Ralph. Phil, when you say BA Premium do you mean BA rear 4 pot? Would be nice to have the exact measurements and a cad model available to forums members.
  11. Thinking of selling my LMGT4s and buying a set of Varrstoen 19x9.5+22 and 19x10.5+22. I love my LMGT4s though :(
  12. Sorry for the late late late reply, already have 6 pot Brembos up front on my FG. Just need the rear 4 pot bracket. Cheers.
  13. Having a few stabs here Gearing? Ratings are also flywheel, so perhaps without a load torque output is 565 from 1950-5250?
  14. I dont know if it is just me, but do you guys seem to notice that the majority of sh*t wheels are found on commodores?
  15. Carton of Jacks/Beam/Premix or 2 cartons of beer for whoever can help me!
  16. Had a similar thing happen myself. Car would tick over, like it was immobilised, but wouldnt start. Fell asleep in the car, woke up a few hours later, and 1st go it started.
  17. Hey guys, Anyone in WA able to provide me access to some of the brackets used in the FPV REAR 4 pot Brembo brakes. I need access to them off the calipers and car so I can take measurements to input into my CAD software. Whoever can help me with access, there is a carton of beer in it for you, of your choice provided it isnt elevntybillion$$$$. Shoot me a message here or my mobile on 0422490516. Cheers, Steve
  18. No problems so far with my 11/08 FG. Pulled 242rwkw stock, ZF 6 speed. Still to take it to WaW though :(
  19. http://www.gcsescience.com/pen28-kinetic-energy.htm Nice little link that explains how doubling speed increases kinetic energy 4 fold. So yeh, you're damn right, 40mph doesn't sound too bad, but hitting something at double the speed and you have 4 times as much KE when you slam into something. Somehow a 5 star rating would mean sh*t then!
  20. Tocchi ran a fair ammount of neg camber to get the offsets to work.
  21. 18x9.5 +35 will work no problems.
  22. 18x10.5 +30 will clear inside, yet will stick out from the guards. Any offset higher than 30 will not clear the inside, and anything lower than 30 will stick out of the guards more. 18x10.5 +22 could work provided you have some decent negative camber in the rear and can pump your guards.
  23. Lower offset would be anything up to 30. Higher offset would be anything over 31. 18x10.5 +22 will clear inside, but you will have a lot of poke.
  24. I'm telling you right now, from experience, an 18x10.5 will not clear on the inside (of a sedan) unless it has an offset of 30 or lower, that is unless you want to grind some of your car down to clear. Circled in yellow is what will cause clearance issues. That and the one directly below it.
