  1. Saw a black f6 rspec bid44v on South Dowling Street and then a silver turbo ute bf50fw on Stoney Creek Road on Wed 2/6. On Thursday 3/6 spotted a blue turbo on the M5 plates xturbo.
  2. The dealer rang during service and said that the light was coming on when turning left. I had not noticed this previous to the service however I always turned the traction off when I started the car. They were not sure what the problem was. The front and rear brakes were checked but no work was carried out on the brakes. I have noticed that sometimes the light comes on about 10 seconds after starting the car even if I have not moved and other times I can drive for a minute or so before the light comes on. Both brake lights are working. I know I have a faulty combination switch as my lights only work in auto mode.
  3. I have a 2006 BF and it just had its 90,000km service. I got the car back and now I notice that the traction control lights up on the dash. I have tried to turn the traction back on however the light stays on. I usually drive with the traction off but with the weather lately it would be nice to have it on. I know my battery needs replacing, could this affect the traction control. I also noticed a few weeks ago that my speedo stopped working as I was driving. I stopped the car and turned it on again but it still would not work. Later that day the speedo worked again. Then the next day my ceruise control would not work. The next day it was working fine. Anyone else have these problems and if so what fixed it?
  4. I live at Revesby and have heard people on the site use CV, autotech and tunehouse. All of these are sponsors on the site and I am not that far from any of them. BTA Motorsport however is the closest. I am just wondering if anyone on the site has used them for mods or tunes on their car? If so what are they like?
  5. Like your new car Robbo Let me know if your keen for a cruise mate.
  6. I was just out at Harry's cafe de wheels at Liverpool and you would swear it was a Ford Convention. The place was packed with old Ford V8 GTs and replicas including coupes. No parking spots left to get out and have a look but :banghead:
  7. Have black and silver NSW plate XR51XT. Minimal amount each year too.
  8. Thanks. There seems to be room for bigger brakes with them too. Flash tune and injectors are next on the list though.
  9. Here is a photo. Very happy with the look and the ride.
  10. Ended up buying Lenso Konvex in 19's. $300 a wheel and Falken FK452 $275 a tyre fitted and balanced at Tempe Tyres.
  11. Advance tyres melbourne who also sell the dark argent for $990 have the fk452 in 235/35/19 for $250. I will go to St George tyres and buy the wheels and then Jax at Liverpool for 245/35/19 FK452. They have them in stock for $289 fitted and balanced.
  12. I am buying the wheels from St George tyres and they don't have the FK452. They said they can do the Yoko AVS ES100 or the Pirelli P Zero Nero for $250. The Pirelli are on sale from $450 down to $250 so I will probably go with them.
  13. Thanks guys, think I will get the 245/35/19 in the Falken FK452. Is the Toyo T1R worth the extra $114 per tyre?
  14. The wheel size is 19 by 8 with a 35 offset. I was told that the 235/35 were the ones to get as they are a closer ride height to original and won't affect gearing. I don't know much about tyres.
  15. I am buying some dark argent 19's and I have had quotes on five different tyres. Just wondering which tyre to go for. The size I am looking at are 235/35/19. The options are: Pirelli P Zero tyres (I think 2008) - $285 Toyo T1R - $364 Kumho KU31 - $226 Kumho KU19 - $252 Falken FK452 - $250
