Hi people new to this tread , very impressive car TRA1NR It looks the goods and with 270 kwrw it makes for an economical weapon as well, I have I beleive the first FG Turbo on gas it was done in june 09 on my XR6 turbo ute it has a tray back on it , which gave us a few headaches with water collecting in and on the tank with the wiring to the fuel pump I will post a pick when I can figure out how on a ipad , but its been absolutely the best thing I did I SAVE AROUND ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS PER THOUSAND KAYS it has 109 kays at this point so I have saved the price ofinstall and another 5000 grand since in 3 years , since then I have just bought a g6et for my lady and although she had reservations about its size has come around very quickly to love it as well, Can I ask what suspension combo u went for im fitting h&r coils but the jury is out for bilys or koni s Greg

Hi sam boss 260 if you pm me I know where there is gtp dash (v8 ) the guy wants 400 for it as far as the fitting you dont get to 50 plus and not make a few contacts on the way in my industry I tried to fit it first but its for a v8 so wouldnt work and I got the only f6 dash in existance I think

Thanks for the input G6ET8U I must admit that I was worried that the billys would be to severe , I have to admit I have them in my XR6 t ute and they are a little bit firm however everytime I go hunting an apex I love them, its just that they might be out of character in the g6 Has anyone else got feedback on the koni reds , had to laugh I have had the car for a week and so far it had a f6 dash fitted, new gtp rims, the 6 spot brembos are in the shed waiting as are the h&r coils , once that is fitted it will get a 270 kw at he wheels chip and my wife says AND YOU BOUGHT THIS CAR FOR ME DID YOU , They are just a great engine and gearbox that I beleive are so under rated Black on black as well

Hi has anyone just upgrade the suspension in there car we have a new to us 46k g6et I have fitted gtp wheels with dunlop pro max tyres, but the car is a two soft for my liking , has anyone just changed the springs only or is it it a shocks and springs thing , I have purchased h&r lowered coils allready and dont know if I need the bilsteins to go with them

You blokes have got it all wrong next time some dip tailgates you wash your windsceen . I garantee they will back off . They wonder what the f... Is going on and back off when they come close again wash it again they soon get the idea it has never fails todate

just put more than two hundred kilos on the tray without upgraded springs and u will lower it allright

I have done all the above request 1 / buy the ford plug for a towing cable plug and wire , no cutting off plugs, no boggy joints 2/ lpg does not fit with a belly tank on xr6 turbo I have a lpi system done by australian lpg in woolongong awsome people and the car made 17kw at the wheels more on lpg than petrol 3/ fitted v8 air box another 8kw ,thanks ford 4/ with trundle tray req upgrade to rear springs

HI I just thought id let you guys know I had my ute liquid injection LPG'd ITS BLOODY AWSOME , its gets the same economy as a toyota corolla or in the old school it gets 46mpg cost effective and picked up 17kw at the wheels 420ks = $32.00 which I think is pretty good it used to do 13.6 ks per ltr so I am expecting a big improvement in my running cost tradey

so u only changed the air box to make how much gain over standard kw this sounds like something I should do

Hi I had a jtg liquid injection lpg system for my fg turbo ute and when we removed the pipe we found it had oil in it is this common and or should I talk to ford about it

have u considered the reverse camera I had one fitted and im pretty pleased with it although it was a bit exey at around 700 hundred

HI hdj80 I might have been wrong about the luxury pack although it does have leather it doesnt have split air con and yes its an 10/08 car that was sitting in a dealer at windsor. its now done over 700ks and I feel even better about the purchase . I just wish it had the tray allready as I strees about marking up the back of it .

Hi all new to the site , just picked up my nitro 6turbo auto on thursday it came with luxury pack ,techno pack,18s, satnav, upgrade sound ,safety pack, mats ,wind deflector, and got it for $41500.oo I didnt check price it was just lust so I walked out of the dealership hoping I had a win . they were really good to deal with and as soon as I told my mate he was lining up for one as well. first impression are HOW GOOD IS THIS. seriously after my 340k old au v8 this thing is wicked its off to get a trundle and tray next week and then to work . is there any market for the old style side
