  1. Has anyone had a noise behind there drivers seat inside the pillar , its driving me crazy every rough bump in the road clunk Otherwise I still love ute
  2. Fpv dash fits easy hardest part of the deal is getting one then getting itbprogrammed , have one in my g6e and love it
  3. And when you come up to corners you give the throttle a quick stab and thevbox will change down and hold that gear till the g sensor senses the road is straight and smooth brilliant for quick driving and power slides on exit

  5. Hi fierce and the rest of you guys , I had a gr8 day in the lady wifes car , I was able to get a few cobwebs out of it on the way home , faarrkk these things are quick they are so much better than my ute ,its a fg turbo as well but this g6e surprises me every time I drive it.

Well I have to sons on this With different opinions, who would have thought , both with valid points but the real answer is the lighter the rotating mass the quicker the motor will rev and as long as the parts are of equal strength the lighter motor mass will always be more reliable as there are less forces exerted on that mass Go ahead flame away

  15. well the the car has done 4000ks on the h&r coils and the billys , this is a must do conversion, the car is seriously capable now , the brembos are fantastic, I love the dash sorry but im sworn to secrecy by the guy that made it happen, he is a ford guru and made it happen for me as he owed me a favour or two , he also dropped in a 270 rwkw tune which I love and hate it sparked the car up nicely but its a bit fuelly b4 we could keep the average in the 11s but its in the 13ltr per hundred these days and I cant get it back no matter how conservative we drive it, my son has 390 kwrw and gets better mileage than we do when tooling around , so im looking for a good cooler and some injectors etc etc if anyone has some for a fg g6et its now time for 330kwrw thanks again all for the help

Has anyone noticed that when driving into a corner on the open road at tmterestong speeds you can stab the throttle hard on the way in ant the box will change down and hold that gear untill the box senses no load or the car is cruising in a straight line its brilliant as you can light it up on exit with out the box changing back up to the original gear You can evan use the kick down to decelerate the car into a corner the same as a manual one or two shifts

Hi new to thread I have a g6et and im getting hru all the early sh*t hat it needed so far it has bilsteins h&r coils all round just fitted the 6 spot brembos tonight and the rears are territorys ,I I will need the finances to catch up a bit and want to get plazaman intercooler and plumbing 3.5 cat and injectors what else will I need I want 300 ish at the wheels, has anyone usd silverwater automotive ive heard good things there

I have a lux XR6 t urbo with the lot and a g6e turbo love love love the g6et for everyday drive but the ute led me to the g6 always had subaru liberty gt but the space the grace and the go ,made me change , The mates just call it the taxi but they did shut up when it was turning the tyres 3 up

Just had the guys at wholesale suspension fit up my new suspension in the g6et ,finally im happy with the new arrival, its been three weeks of tolerance , but as someone who has raced lotus 7 for the last 10 years , and some fairly quick street cars, im in love with this car , it has a very good blend of the things I like , the next upgrade is 6 spot calipers and territory rears , and then we can look at the go side of thing . I m looking for around the 300 kwrw so any input will be appreciated By the way appreciate the input from the xr community so far, reading these forums seems to cut out a lot of the guess work with upgrades Greg
  21. Hi sam its actually oil temp which I think is better than oul pressure as turbo motors fail when the oil gets to hot and itells u when to get out of it ,I would like oil pressure as well but these thing s will shut down if it gets low anyway
